    Something loose in front end.

I've given up on my dealership as well. I figure one of the suspension upgrades I'll eventually get to will fix it or something stock will break and then I can take it to the dealership to fix the broken piece. Either way, it's really annoying to have a brand new car with a clunk in it that the...

    Something loose in front end.

I'm running the 18" Carroll Shelby rims and I'd have to say that it makes the issue a little more noticable. Maybe because of the lower profile tires. My dealer has replaced the end links on the steering and tightened every bolt and nut on the front end. They said that the K member was a...

Subscribing, I've got the same issue since the car was new. Getting ready to replace the entire suspension to resolve issue. Jason

If you've had your fuel tank replaced, please read...

I just had the new tank installed and have had no issues on the first fill up. Will let you know if the problem shows up again. For what it's worth mine was really bad. Like a 10 minute job to get the tank full. Jason

    Which one do u advice me.....GT 2006 or Mach1 2004??

Thanks, it's amazing what a few thousand dollars in parts and paint can do. I was pretty happy with the way that one turned out. I called it the Newman special because everything on it was purchased through a long time friend and Ford parts dealer. Everything on it was Ford or Saleen that...

    Which one do u advice me.....GT 2006 or Mach1 2004??

Wow, I agree with both views above. I've owned both and where I think the S197 is the better of the two on all accounts I still wish sometimes that I had the Mach 1 because of how rare they will be in the future years. So... If you are going to buy to keep, go with the Mach 1, if you're...

Dealer Beware (Long but need to get the word out)

Yes, I can also stand at a 10,000 foot view and see their point as well, but insurance is there for accidents that happen, I shouldn't have been treated the way I was. It's hard to say in words how badly I was treated. Litteraly like a criminal. As for the alarm thing, my alarm was on valet...

Dealer Beware (Long but need to get the word out)

Click HERE for a copy of the letter that I have unfortunately been forced to send to my dealership along with their owning company. The reason I have had to do this is because my dealership, in short wrecked my brand new '06 Mustang GT with 1000 miles on it, treated me like slim and told me...

Help with some '05 problems, and pics of my Roush

On the shifter wind noise Bigcat is right, there is a black rubber boot under then leather one that seals against the tranny tunnel. MAke sure that it's pushed in good. As for the hood problem, it's common if you are really concerned with it then add some hood pins. I don't like adjusting...

Anybody running 17's up front and 18's in the rear?

I did a lot of research on doing this and decided to go with 18" up front as well as the rear with a wider rim in the rear. It will be difficult to find an overall height of 27" on rim and tire without making the front tire look a lot larger than the rear. Jason

    MACH 1 VS. 06

    Help out a Classic Stanger

Take a look at the watts link setup that Fay's 2 has to offer. Looks like a really good bolt in system. I was looking at this setup for my '71. Jason

Anyone have Taillight sequencers by Classic Design Concepts

I have the meter4it kit and wouldn't trade them for any other brand. Their setup allows you to choose between sequence and chase and is very easy to install. Jason

    06 GT exhaust help

Unfortunately the placement of the mufflers is really prone to horrible droaning. Have you thought about adding a short set of resonators to the mix? I think that and possibly a set of high flow cats in the X would go along way to taming the sound. Jason

TGJ, yeah I still stay in touch with Johnny and Kris thanks for the kind words about the cars of my past. royb, you are saying you have an S197 with a Saleen blower? Yes, I would like to check that out, and I might have to swing out to the DFWStangs get together. However I think if you...

    SuperCharger Gurus

Listen man, I'm not here to fight over the internet I'm just sharing information that I've learned. Take a look at the inlet on the back of the Saleen blower, how can you not say that's restricting the air flow into the blower. I like the nice runner design but you still have to get air to...

    SuperCharger Gurus

I'm not saying you can't swap pullies, I'm saying that comparing the two twin screw blowers KB vs. Saleen the Saleen blower is going to max itself out way before the KB due to the inlet. I'm not saying you can't make more power than stock, I'm saying the Saleen is the most limited blower out...

    SuperCharger Gurus

If you want to keep your warranty then your best bet is to try and talk your dealer into installing the Saleen blower when you buy it. Procharger, Vortech are both Centrifigal superchargers and make big high end power and are built for the 1/4 mile IMHO. Saleen, Whipple and Kenny Bell are...
