    Fan always running... SCT X3?

I just loaded in an SCT X3 "strategy" tune. Now, it seems like my fan is running all the time. I checked both of the engine/fan temperature settings inside the X3, and both seemed normal (don't remember exact, but fan low/high about 170*F/220*F)... Still, the fan starts about 10 seconds...

    35th Anniv What's a mint 35th aniv worth?

That must be with cruise control... FYI got it for $10,800... Daddy didn't give it away, but not too bad considering the condition.

    Transmission leak need help

Doesn't sound too serious to me. I think you just have a driveline seal that failed. Remove the driveline bolts from the pinion flange, and you will be able to remove your driveline. Then just remove the old one with a screwdriver, and tap the new one into place with something kind of soft.

    will these tires fit.

bump for you.... but if you are trying to put a 315 on an 8" stock rim, I think most would say it would lead to a poor fit. 315mm is 12.5". This puts the contact patch roughly 2" beyond the rim edge on both sides. Doesn't sound safe to me.

    35th Anniv What's a mint 35th aniv worth?

Hey there Voorhees - I was hoping you'd respond. I'm pretty sure it is a limited gt, because I'm buying it from my Dad. I just wasn't sure what it was worth. I found that NADA "Special" GT quote last night after posting, and found the same numbers you provided. Those numbers are retail...

    35th Anniv What's a mint 35th aniv worth?

So I have the opportunity to buy a mint 99 gt 35th aniv. 28,000 miles. Garaged every night, rarely driven in the rain. Hard top. Certainly 'excellent' condition, nearly 'showroom'. Any ideas what it's worth?

    Mount Saint Helens

Not according to the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument website... "Mount St. Helens Is Currently Closed to Climbing Updated: 31 May 2006 - Mount St. Helens is currently closed to climbing due to volcanic activity." Looks like they may have opened it for a few days, then shut her...

    >>> How to remove my front springs<<<

That's a great idea greg... plus they are already compressed, so the end won't rotate out of the perch as you compress it. Great idea.

    Do I need 24# injectors?

I don't think it is too soon for 24's for you. Based on your list 19's 'may' not be too small, but why chance it. As soon as you go with a new cam, you will certainly want them. I did the cheap-o BBK regulator, and it has served me very well for about 20K miles.

Intro - Kinda new to Stangnet

If you can afford it, I'd get the real-deal Edelbrock. It appears to be working fine now - although I did have a coolant leak around the thermostat mount when I installed it (due to a lack of gasket land - appears casting core shifted). Also, I had problems with many of the pipe threaded...

Intro - Kinda new to Stangnet

LOL... The car is painted "Ford blue", whatever that means for an '89. I forget the exact name. They did add a little metal flake, to make it shine some, plus it was clear coated, which I don't think my car was originally. They didn't paint the engine bay, so you can get an idea of the...

Intro - Kinda new to Stangnet

Nothing wrong with multi-colored cars... I miss the days when I didn't have to park out in BFE for fear of door dings. Smokedya - I'm in East vancouver. By 112th and SR500. Gotta love the 'couve. $300K homes on one corner, and $40K trailers on the other...

Intro - Kinda new to Stangnet

Thanks guys. It's amazing what a new paint job will do. Before a well spent $1600, I looked like (ehemmm... even worse than) most every other ghetto stang on the road. Three different shades of primer. I added my sig, with ****ty track times. The car has driven 13.6 in the quarter...
