Battery Wont Stay Charged And Car Dies.

I had same issue and found that the grounds up near the battery under the green screws were the culprit on an SN95. The 92 I have does not use them but has another ground on the chassis for the same purpose. You can remove the hold down screw and sand the metal frame and then bottom of the ring...

Nitto 555 Super Grip, Or Lack Of Power?

Great grip. I have had them for a year and I know what you mean. It is a great wearing tire though. Sticky in the heat, sloppy in the rain.

    Throwing P0135 And P0155 After H-pipe Install

Could very easily be your O2's needing replaced. I have a Bassani X with High Flow Cats. I was getting the same codes but only for passenger side. I replaced that sensor and the code never came back. I had tried to clear the code a few times and it would take about 5 minutes before it would come...

Where To Find License Plate Light Lens For Sn95 Mustang

You will find a lot of junk ones at the junk yards. Geez man, $15.00 is not a lot. That's $7.50 a piece for a new item. Not a bad deal if you ask me. I would expect to pay $5.00 a piece from a junk yard anyway.

    What Is This?

Finally. Someone suggested it may be a spark enhancer from another forum. It is an Ignition Solutions Plasma Booster. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2002/12/plasmabooster/index.php

    What Is This?

I have found something interesting after all. It has 8 green LEDS on the front of it. They light up as the coils fire. What in the heck would you need something like this for anyway? I am about to yank it off. I did find a another splice adapter, just like the ones for the coils attached to the...

    What Is This?

I just got the car yesterday. I see nothing like this in the engine compartment. I have yet to go to the computer. I do have a red wire that was cut and goes no where coming from the firewall. It may have been for something like a piggy back ignition or something. I do know that it has external...

    What Is This?

First let me say, GLAD TO BE BACK. I have been gone for 3 years. I sold out to an LS1 in a Transam, but I a damn glad to say I am back in a Mustang! Its like a long lost girl you wish you had never let go........ My new girl is a 2002 GT. Only 19,270 miles!! What a find. I know that the previous...

MSD Tach Adaptor Once and For All

It all depends on what your setting up. I do not have a stock distributor, wiring , or anything remotely related to the OEM setup. I have a vacuum advance distributor, a 6AL box, and an MSD coil. Nothing in the stock system exists in my setup. Dont get confused folks.

MSD Tach Adaptor Once and For All

Its been awhile since I was in the dash but if you follow the plastic layover piece attached to the back of the cluster you will see the copper trace that runs to the tach. You have to picture in your head the connector and then pick the wire. The wiring print says it is the Tan / Yellow Stripe...

    Cam Question

Nothing more than a .500 lift will work. Stock springs can not handle anything more. F Cam is .512 and is to much. B or E cam will work. Most here will tell you that a custom grind, Trick Flow, or Anderson cam is better than a B or E cam. I like the lope of the E Cam, but search this forum and...

Aod-e transmission drain plug kit, anyone ever install one ?

I installed one on a C6 in an F150 Mud Bogger. I purchased one from Autozone. B&M brand was what I used. Pull the pan, change the filter while its off, drill a hole in the pan, install the plug. It comes with a nylon washer to allow it to seal. I would also use some black RTV on it before...

    How to rebuild distributor???

Boys it hard to get that gear off on everyone I have done. I have really screwed up a few gears. I agree on the reman one. If you manage to get the gear off and upper roll pins out, then great. Make sure you mark the gear to make sure it is back in line for the roll pin re-insertion. even if you...

what oil for my 94 cobra?

Rotella T is high in zinc. Its good for breaking in engines but is intended for trucking. I personally do not think that high mileage engines that already have leaks should have synthetics being placed in them. The oil will leak right out around seals. If you think you HAVE to use synthetics...

    Valve spring question...

Its not just about buying new springs. You need to also purchase retainers and locks. You do not use OEM retainers and locks with good aftermarket springs.

    Electrical Woes

Did you check under the hood at the fuse block there? Nothing should really matter in that door for what your describing. Best way to check fuses is take a test light and go across both sides of the fuse. If you have a light on both of the small exposed metallic areas fuse is good.

    Convertible top problems!

Not sure but did you check the E-brake circuit. You have to have the E-brake up and active to raise the top.

Question: On flywheel bolts, do I use BLUE loc-tite or RED loc-tite?

I have NEVER had to use heat to remove red loctite. I dont know why they say this on the info for the red stuff.

    Oil Pan Gasket Questions

The best thing you can do is to pull the transmission and then unbolt the pan. You may as well change the rear main since your this far into it. The pan gasket will be difficult to remove from the pan. I used a one piece gasket and it leaked. I did everything exactly as requested by placing it...
