    Drivetrain 95 Cobra Transmission replacement

I'm a master tech and a transmission still scares me. It is the one thing I don't have a lot of experience with.

    Drivetrain 95 Cobra Transmission replacement

Ugh. It really is a love/hate relationship with the 94-95 cars. I will probably look into a rebuild if thats the case.

    Drivetrain 95 Cobra Transmission replacement

Ok so my 95 Cobra is grinding 3rd gear at high RPM shifts. Normal driving is no problem. I'm thinking the synchro is going bad there, so what are my options? I've been out of the game for quite some time so my knowledge in the 94-95 transmissions was replaced by some other grain of knowledge...

    I'm Back!!!

I've been out of the game for too long. I pulled the trigger on a 95 Cobra today. It's got a few bolt on mods but has a fresh paint job (in Rio Red) and the interior is immaculate. Anyways, I can't wait to really have fun. The streets of Mobile, AL are no longer safe!

    1994 Mustang GT Sputtering

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it. Check for a vacuum leak also. That's where I would start.

Looking into another Stang. Should I jump?

Well the deal fell through, so no need to worry anyways. The search continues!

Looking into another Stang. Should I jump?

Yeah I'm a guy lol. I honestly forgot all about structural integrity with a vert so I'm glad you brought that up. That's something I will be looking for. Most regular folks never think about subframe connectors, especially on a convertible. I'm honestly not interested in a convertible, but the...

Looking into another Stang. Should I jump?

Ok all you fellow lovers of the SN95, I've made a gallant return...again. I know what you're thinking "this loser shows up every 10 years". You would be correct, but man back in the early 2000s I was one of the big posters here. Anyways, found a new car. 95 GT vert, 85k original miles. $5500...

    The progress thread *officially*

Thats right ladies Im starting my progress thread. Lets start in the beginning with what I have. Bone stock 88 GT, only mod was a 5spd swap and some slowmasters. The interior was trashed, needs paint, and some engine upgrades. I decided to go Carb on it and just keep it simple. I have ordered...

    CARB CONVERSION PLAN.

You can use the stock EFI pump, however the best bet is a Holley blue pump and new lines.

car wobbles when coming to a stop

90% chance your rotors are warped, you can take them somewhere and get them turned if they are within spec. If not buy some new ones.

No...I didn't fall off the earth!

Well I made the discovery that the world was "round" and rolled back around eventually. Australia is quite nice this time of year.

What's the widest tire you can run on pony rims?

Ok, so the 245 is about the biggest I can get. I have 225 50's on the front now. I was just wondering cause my buddy and his damn camaro has 315's on the back, and its ridiculous.

    My New 5.0

Atleast for now go find a Cobra or GT40 intake and maybe even GT40 heads. But personnally I would wait on the heads until you get to the final project. Start with the usual bolt ons, move on up from there.

    Interior swap issues.

Yeah the rear pillars would be the one spot I would check closely. Everything else should be the same. But like you said you need to look close around the shock towers and all.

    Cam Removal

It comes right out without pulling the engine. Just remove the radiator and condensor.
