Here is a random question ... is the older fox v6 in any way similar to the 94+ 3.8? As a stripped fox coupe with a newer 1999 + 3.8 with some head/cams nitrous etc. would be a lot of fun.

The base stereo (not the mach) is pretty darn crappy I must say. I've got quite a weird combo on my car. It's a 99 5spd, cloth seats, with the premium steering wheel, ABS and Traction Control. Its basically got everything except the leather ... I don't know what the original owner was thinking...

I drive mine in the winter ... the traction control is useless unless you get stuck .... turn it on and drive out. However, you'll be much happier if you invest in a set of true winter tires. Just get a set of blizzaks on cheap wheels, it makes it much safer and easier to drive. I don't even...

Thanks Guys... Yah ...im currently saving for chrome bullits, deep dish for the back of course. SO that, along with tint(yes it needs it badly i know) and a GT rear bumber so I can raise up my exhaust and actually see the flowmaster tips, is all in store for next year. I spent too much on it...

BAM! There you go ... MAC Cold Air Kit for the V6 ... it may not be any better performance wise than anything off of Ebay ... but it sure looks better :)

Im pretty sure it depends on the year ... some have the wiring some don't ... I really can't remember though, hopefully someone with that knowledge will chime in!

99 - 04 V6 does not have the head gasket problem that the older models did.

The above post basically says it all ... my 99 has the flowmaster dual exhaust kit, 3.73 gears with tracloc, MAC cold air kit with k/n, and it is lowered 2" ... this is all im really going to do to it ... it looks good, sounds awesome, gets good mileage and the gears and trac loc make it a lot...

1999 - 2001 base model came with 15's ( the 3 spoke triangle things), 16's were an option, (the 5 spoke pony wheel) ... 2002 - 2004 the 16" pony wheel became standard .... that is how I have always known it.
