    Installed new CB - clearance problems

    My left tailpipe was low before and after they fixed the clearance problem on the right-side. While it was in the shop, I had them bend the left tailpipe to match the right-side. Now, I have no clearance problems and the tips are centered in the cut-outs on both sides. I'm happy.

    UPDATE Problem solved. The muffler shop cut the pipe and twisted it slightly. Now I have all kinds of room under there and the pipes look great. The specialist said Flowmaster welded the muffler to the tail-pipe at the wrong angle, and he was correct. I'll try to post a picture on the other...

    I know it's bad. I have an appointment at the muffler shop for Wed. morning, but I will save some money if someone can tell me how to fix it on my own.

    BTW... I tried to angle the muffler the other way, and the pipe was *wedged* against the weight. I'm disappointed with this thing. I think it will cost me an hour's labor at my favorite muffler shop. :notnice:
