Thats what I was going to say also. Its easier if you have someone help you. Get under the car, right under the driveshaft. Have a friend spin the rear tire exactly one revolution and you count the driveshaft turns from under the car.

Parts like the pilot bearing and rear main seal are relatively cheap. If it were me I would replace them even if they look fine. Same thing with the flywheel. Resurfacing the flywheel is relatively cheap too.
