    Steeda aluminum quadrant question

    Found a pic of this piece for those who are unsure, my quadrant sits on top of the "L" not down in it! Does this matter or should I try to bend it and see if new quadrant will fit inside. I suspect when I had my BBK one installed the shop bent it to get old quad out and never bent it back again.

    The piece I am referring to is where the quadrant comes to rest when clutch is let out. I have seen it referred to as a "power shaft". Just want to know is the quad supposed to sit on top of it, or slide in too it? Thanks

    Possibly coolant, I'd pop the rad cap and see what colour the coolant is, might have a small leak in upper rad hose or egr. Good luck

    King Cobra clutch...............

    Mine stretched more than expected, and no matter how it was installed rattled the dash when depressing it, made car VERY difficult to drive, and left leg was quivering after short time, as clutch was so hard to press. Mine was almost at end of adjustment also.

    King Cobra clutch...............

    My suggestion is take the BBK cable out and replace it with a Ford OEM one. I just took that exact cable out after 2 weeks, had same clutch installed also. Clutch feels back to normal now!

    Cable is creaking real bad (BBK adjustable)when depressing clutch, have read that you need too shim the quadrant?? How do you do that? How does it help? The clutch pedal is an absolute bugger to push in, and rattles the dash when doing so!! Any help appreciated

    I tried to install a K-member brace on my 89 but could not get it too fit. It is a 4pt and have a Moroso 20511 oil pan. Do these not work with aftermarket oil pans?
