no prob. I didn't plan on using the file. I just wanted to see how you went about it is all. I will have a slightly different combo in that I will be using a stock cam and plan on going turbo. what did your total timing end up at and what was your a/f.

That is what I was thinking. I didn't really see a blown gasket except maybe the one between the bores. That doesn't allow coolant to get in though. It appears the head almost lifted all of the way across.

did it lift the head?
