I have a CHP 331 with a girdle and I've had no problems. It has about 8k miles on it now, but it isn't my daily driver anymore.

    What tires grip ?

Actually I believe the Nitto model number that you are looking for is the 555r (opposed to 255r), however it comes in whatever size you want. I had 245/50/16's on my old ponies. also, congrats on the blower. damn good tq down low!!!

aluminum heads 700 bucks.... whats the catch?

lighter weight, bigger valves, and more flow. ok heads but there are better ones. for 300 more you could have trick flow heads which are worlds apart from these. here is a comparison on the flow numbers. iron head link at the top of the page...

Would I benefit fron stepping down to 24 lb injectors?

It isn't like I misunderstood what you said because earlier you said: you contradicted yourself. my point is that either way even 450 boosted horsepower is too much for 30's. I think most people would agree that at least 36lb'ers are probably what he needs for 10lbs of boost

ummm.........see sig. :rlaugh: any decent 331/347 will top 330 to the wheels.

Would I benefit fron stepping down to 24 lb injectors?

you say he didn't get the injectors because he needed them now, but rather because he plans on putting down 600rwhp? if in fact he is going to make that much power he would be stupid to run 30lb injectors. :nonono: why do you think that vortech recommends 36-42s with their S-Trim/SQ-Trim...

HOLLEY AND EDELBROK RPM II QUESTION?

both are great intakes, though I am not sure about the wt. either. dump the cobra and pick up whichever of those 2 that you can get the cheapest. Those are my 2 choices and what I am going to do when funds permit. good luck! J

Re-post. Making 350 HP daily driver

you said 350hp, and then you said 350 dyno'd hp. it sounded like at first you wanted it to the flywheel but then later it sounded like you wanted it to the wheels. What exactly are you looking for?

How safe is it to put the N20 bottle behind the passenger seat?

that was a good question. I was wondering the same thing. a few of my buddies have it in the compartment as well. I thought about just putting it behind my seat though because I don't let anyone sit behind me. On the passenger side I would lose the option of having anyone ride back there...

    build me a 347

i had plans to do an fti cam but then funds didnt permit and i had to stick with the ported cobra intake/65mm throttle body I had and I found a good deal on my tfs stage 3 cam......it is pretty sweet too. you can see the numbers in the sig and once i do the systemax II or RPM II intake and a...

    1.90's on a 347?

honestly if money IS an issue right now then run what you got. Later, as funds permit you can upgrade. Don't stress on it. what cam are you thinking of running with the 331/347?? do up the rest of the motor right and you will still be happy. then when you can afford the 185's get them. if...

    Speed-Glo Gauges?

hahaha, the ones you saw on the website are pics of my car. when he first had them he only had them for 91-93. I talked to him for awhile and told him i would put out the word here on stangnet because they are really the same as the 87-89 cars except slightly different for their airbags. I...

Help me set up and decide on my 347 combo

personally I agree that you will need to do a little something in way of porting your heads to better match that intake. plus when I was looking into that intake, I found that the systemax II or RPM II better matched my unported trick flows, but I was also told that that power band and the one...

87-93 Manual Side Mirrors? I cant find any

my coupe is manual everything but I was told that all mirrors are powered, they just don't connect to anything. I checked mine awhile back and mine are do in fact have the power plug on then, they just don't connect to the manual wiring harness anywhere. I actually got a center console...

    My new combo--opinions please

personally I don't think you will hit the 400 rwhp number you want. your cam is too small (should have gone stage 3) and your intake is ok but you should have gone either systemax II or RPMII. injectors are WAY too small, I would NOT hammer on it until you put in some 30's. you also need a...
