i say pioneer for a head unit. very well made units. and as for speakers/amps, if you have a bit more money to spend, go with JL audio, they have amazing quality/sound, i love my stereo, and have had it 6 years with no issues

i have 1 jl 8" w7.... is far far far far far louder than the 10w3v2 i had before it.... and is a smaller box too. only downside is it cost more, and you have to use a jl amp, cause it runs at 3 ohms, but it's my recommendation
