5.0 HO Vacuum Ports - how to use / any check valves in there?

I have an 89 engine that I am swapping into a car, and I plan to run boost. I am trying to figure out if any of the ports on the upper intake have check valves I need to know about. I saw this post on corral...

    Mustang Drop Spindles

If you can find a way to make a drop spindle, that gives you drop, ability to run a wider wheel, and corrects all the turning radius issues with aftermarket rack-and-pinion, without compromising bump steer, I swear you would have a good sized audience. Everyone who forked over $2k for a...

    Stock crank pulley specs?

Holy crap, the Pre-94 HO pulley is way different! Im measuring: 6 1/8 lip to lip 2 3/8 center hole 3 5/16 bolt holes center to center :( HRM...

    Stock crank pulley specs?

Cool, thanks for the info. If you want a smaller diameter, i know ASP Racing sells different ones, although I am not sure on the actual size.

    Stock crank pulley specs?

I assume that measurement would be measurement A on this picture?

    Stock crank pulley specs?

I am looking to use a 94-95 pulley on a pre-94 HO engine, mainly because of the decreased depth. (I actually plan on putting a trigger wheel and a spacer between the balance and the pulley for stock belt alignment). I'm looking for two specs, if anyone can give them to me, to know if the...

    3g upgrade... PA Performance?

Just a note: HID's use less power than an equal output normal bulb. Now.. if you are keeping your stock lights, and adding more lights, then that will obviously increase the demand. However, if you are replacing the stock lights with HID's, you will probably be using LESS power.

Retrofit Tacoma Struts in a Stang

I find it funny that you are doing all of this work..... to save you work. I like to see people getting creative though :nice:

Some pictures of my project... The Mustang SHO

That shifter extension is amazing! I'll keep that in mind if I put a manual in my 67.. I don't like "kinked" shifters that require you to lean forward from the seat to use.:nice:

Retrofit Tacoma Struts in a Stang

You know why they are setup that way? Because it is cheaper. If you look at all the cars the ricers adore, they are the newer cars with dual arms, not with struts. Also, if you look at the high end track setups for the new mustangs, some of the best ditch the strut and put in an upper A-arm...

Retrofit Tacoma Struts in a Stang

Why would you ever want to get rid of the upper control arm? Without it, you won't have any camber gain.

    Milodyne bushings, worse than poly.

Sorry, everyone settle down. You can tell the fire department to go home. There is no plastic of any kind in that joint, so it doesnt matter what material you buy. That IS metal on metal in every kit.

Rear end: Large Bearings Vs. Small Bearings

I believe they have HIGHER velocity, actually.

Now I'm looking at the 14" GT 500 brakes!

    Mustang Drop Spindles

I think there is something to be learned from this though - people are willing to pay more for what they want, regardless of how right it is. I personally would pay EXTRA to use any brakes i want. But, like has been said before, as long as I can cut it off and use whatever I want, I don't...

    Mustang Drop Spindles

I think your list is backwards. First priority is to fix all the rack and pinion kits. All of them are wrong. People spend $1,500 on them as well - lots of people, lots of different kits. They have money in this. Second I think is letting people have whatever brakes they want. Ok, your...

    Mustang Drop Spindles

So will this have stock 70 drum mounting locations as well? I think that is a key feature that needs to be present.

    Mustang Drop Spindles

Removeable steering arm would be nice... but a hacksaw can do the job :D As long as you can bolt on a new one I think I would be happy.

    Mustang Drop Spindles

I am hoping that I could get a steering arm mod by cutting off the stock steering arm, and bolting one onto the lower brake mounting holes on the back side. For the arm I would try to get one machined from 3/4" plate or something similiar. Then I would have the area around the back side of the...

    Mustang Drop Spindles

Do you have a picture of the BACK of the spindle.. especially the middle area around the brake mounting area?
