    Tires for 96 Cobra--how wide?

    I have Bridgestone 295/30 on the rear of my 96 Cobra. THEY DO NOT RUB, and my car is lowered quite a bit. My friend has a 95 GT with 315 width tires on the rear. THEY DO NOT RUB. However, he did remove his quad shocks to fit that wide of a tire. I say go for 295 width.

    '96 Cobra issues(?)

    Just because it's a 96 doesn't mean it overheats. Not all of them did. Other than that, I can't think of any problems. My car has 60,000 miles on it and the only problems I've had with it are associated with aftermarket parts I bought.

    I used 5 1/4" component speakers for the door panels and rear deck. My car is a coupe so I don't have speakers in the interior quarter panel like you vert does--mine go in the rear deck. I regret buying 5 1/4" speakers b/c they simply don't get loud enough (in terms of bass and mid-range sound)...
