Exceptionally Clean 1984 Bronco Wny $5500 Obo

Exceptional Arizona truck! 351, automatic, dual front shocks, cruise (works!), rear window works from both the switch and key. Shows 81k on the odometer and we believe that is the actual mileage. Had AC, previous owner took it out but have the parts. You won't find another like this one! Recent...

    Long time no post-Eleanor Update

It is-FINALLY! Man did it take long enough...and now she's squeeking! We think it's the bushing on the lower control arm. We put about 100 miles on her on Friday, no problem. Took her out to go to a cruise night, and squeek,squeek..ugh. On the upside, in looking in the fender well, we...

    1973 Mach 1 Rebuild

We would have done the same, except the passenger quarter was a full on replacement-not just a skin, but the wheelhouses, bracing and skin. I'll have to fin the pic I had of the replacement if it's not on the cardomain, it was literally cut off the donor car with a sawzall. He also did the...

    1973 Mach 1 Rebuild

Wow, dejavu. Sounds rather familiar. We went through pretty much all of that except the passenger side quarter had a huge dent too. We have pics here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/796631 We replaced the passenger quarter with one off of another car that we got from Ohio Mustang. He's about a...

    73 mach 1 build thread

Someone on cardomain was putting a dual turbo setup into a big body at one point a few years ago. I haven't checked in on it in a while. Yup, the big bodies are by far the most neglected years after the MII. When we bought Eleanor and started looking for parts I thought we were really in...

    Spray dying seat color change

We did this with the rear seats for Eleanor, from Ginger to black. It seems to have worked fine, BUT we haven't reinstalled them-they've just been sitting around for a few years (the fronts are getting reupholstered, they were/are all ripped up). Stuff has been set on them, it hasn't rubbed...

    71 grill in a 73 mach1

I probably am, from when we were thinking of painting Eleanor Ivy Green and making her look all classic Mach instead of Eleanor (no side stripe, just the bottom one, like the Boss 351s).

    1971-1973 mustang builds

Ugh, not to mention trying to hold it, balance it and align the thing. I couldn't believe it when I tried to pick it up the first time. OMG.

    71 grill in a 73 mach1

I thought there was some difference between the 73 and 71/72 stripes. I can't think of it now.

    1971-1973 mustang builds

Here's a link to a slideshow I put up on youtube for our build so far: YouTube - Eleanors Story and a blog post about her story from when we found her to now: Gear 4 Gearheads: Eleanor, our 1973 Mustang Mach 1 We're building an Eleanor tribute (the original version). She was a real mess...

    71 grill in a 73 mach1

IMO, if they can pick up on the stripes, they can pick up on the other subtle differences between the 71/72 and 73. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    Long time no post-Eleanor Update

*if someone's looking for the Shelby clone type Eleanore, you're not finding one here. We're building the original, a 73 (although admittedly, the REAL one was a 71 made to look like a 73). Been soooo long! We finally got all the wild and crazy issues like the torque converter not fitting...
