    2005 Mustang Dead Battery Problem??

That sounds to me like you just need to calibrate the window(s). Try holding window switch down and hold for 2 sec after it goes all the way down repeat for up this should solve the problem.

    Should I get the manual

The only down side to an auto is u can't dump the clutch and light the tires whenever u want. As a poor working stiff I can't afford to replace the Nitto's every 6 mos.anyway. With a good tune u can control the shift points w/ your right foot, if u are cruising it shifts like a Lincoln, but if u...

Q: for those with Agent 47 Mirrors

I just installed mine yesterday and spent more time fishing a nut out of the door panel than the rest of the swap took. I'd suggest temporarily filling the hole in the door panel by stuffing a shop towel in there. The thing was sitting on top of my door sub taunting me. I followed kooldawgs...

    Getting Better Gas Mileage

Another way to increase your gas mileage is at the pump. The nozzle at the gas station has a vapor return line, so if you can fill up at the coolest part of the day when the fuel is less prone to vaporize and use the slowest setting because agitated fuel is more likely to vaporize. You get...

    tire recomendations..

I put 265/35's all the way around on my Ultra-Lite II's, because of the Ford factory defect of the rear tires wearing out much sooner than the fronts, I have the option of rotating.

    Disable Clutch Engagement To Start?

Seems like way too much hassle to turn your car into an electric RC car which only goes in one direction and has no brakes or steering.

    2005+ GT Trailer Hitch?

I wondered how long it would take people to start moaning at this thread. While I would never have a hitch on my Mustang, I also understand that these cars are not cheap and should be able to haul what you need. I've seen several custom trailers towed to car shows and left right on the car in...

    What color stripes?

Well, after playing w/ the stripe machine for an hour (thanks LV51FER) I like Redfire or Mineral Grey, but I prefer things that are more subtle. Now if flashy is your thing I would go w/ either Screaming Yellow or Sonic Blue, assuming you are limited to that pallete and I would stay away from...

    Setting The Record Straight

Yeah I had to laugh at it. Way to be on the bleeding edge. Too bad they are more worried about selling mags than getting the truth out, any good internet search would lead to the numerous posts on this subject.

    Top Speed with Tunes

The problem w/ cars w/ a tune not starting is usually caused by the dealer changing the stock tune during a service and the the owner loads their's on top of it but it is no longer compatible. Brenspeed.com has a write up on their site that explains things better and also tells you how to avoid...

GT500 replica rear spoiler install...56K WARNING!

Nice, though I was kinda wishing you would have used a real credit card so I could get me one to. I think it would go nicely w/ my Cervinis 500 Chin Spoiler.

    22MPG?

In May I checked in at 24.1 from Plainfield, IN to Bettendorf, IA (fill to fill) averaging 75 to 80 mph. Not bad for this heavy a car. That's calculated w/ the old fashioned way because the trip computer is only an average and will throw everything off, if for instance you make a pit stop or hit...

Need info on GT security system please!

The alarm works three ways; it senses when the doors, trunk, and hood are opened, it also has an internal motion sensor and third an inclination detector in case someone tries to jack or tow your ride. It does not go off because of loud music, thunder or fireworks.

    Steeda Ultralight Springs

I have the same springs and stock struts and I don't have any complaints. I can hardly tell a difference in the ride quality even over RR tracks. I can only think that you have either a bad install or bad springs. Good luck.

    Lowering my '06 GT

I've got the Ultra-Lites on mine and I love them. I can't tell the difference in the ride but handling definitely improved, and w/ only an inch drop in the front my splitter will clear all but the tallest curbs.

    Charge Motion Valve Plate Delete

From what I've heard the thottlebody isn't worth it until you install cams or P/P heads or both. Otherwise you are not moving enough air to overcome the stock throttlebodies' limitations. Of course forced induction also brings up the same issues but you have to worry about your internals way...

    bassani modular cat/race x-pipe

I have the full Bassani exhaust short of headers. It comes w/ sections to run w/ and w/o cats which makes it nice if your car is dual purpose or you want to try it one way for a while and then the other.

    Glassback in my 05!! WOOHOO!

OK, now I'm drooling, I think it's contagious. Sadly I have to slow down on my mods to allow my means to gain some ground on my desires.

    Painted brake calipers

I used a rattle can of VHT Brake Caliper, Drum & Rotor paint, good to 900F. I used cardboard to shield from overspray and 600 grit to knock off any paint that got on the rotor.

    s197 cougar

Yeah that's pretty cool. My brother used to have a G-code '70 Eliminator, it sadly didn't have the original Boss 302 but it was still a nice car, and my dad used to have a '68 XR7-G Dan Gurney Special w/ the original 428CJ. So needless to say I love the Cats almost as much as the 'Stangs.
