MV Performance out in Statham has done all the work on my car. They charge me $275 for install on gears including all the fluids and stuff. You can buy the gears from gefracing like mentioned above. You will also need a speedcal or some sort of tune to correct the speedo and odometer...

Ok, I spent almost $20 on a Haynes manual, and there is no picture of the F#!@$* IAC. There is a section that tells you the steps to take to remove it, but nothing that explains where it is other than it is near the throttle body. Can someone please post a picture of it!

Anyone got a picture of a IAC so I know what it is?

Uh, didn't you read his post? It says he had them set at 1 in the front and 3 in the rear.

I don't know about that. He is already pulling a 1.7x 60' so he isn't having a problem hooking up. Maybe your problem is shift points and needing to shift faster. Where are you shifting at?

Detonation and piston damage isn't the only thing to worry about. The stock springs aren't meant to handle that much power and you can get valve float which will also kill your engine.

Think twice about it if your car is lowered. I had two of them on my car, and neither one lasted more than a couple days because it kept hanging on every driveway and speed bump. It was all scratched up and looked like crap. Finally I just gave up and pulled it back off my car.

You will waste money doing something other than the '03 Cobra setup. Eventually you will need it, and then you will have spent money on other setups for nothing. I went through two or three different fuel pump setups before I got the '03 Cobra setup. Everything else was just a waste of money.

I think a new hood would be the least of your problems. I think it would take a lot of doing, and as far as I know they didn't sell the 5.4 from the Cobra R anywhere. You could get a 5.4 from a Navigator or something, but to get Cobra R power out of it you would have to do a lot of work to it...
