what is the best aftermarket Turbo and Intercooler?

There is no such thing as a best turbo, as different turbos work better in different applications. It depends on what you have and what you want to do (and your budget). There is no answer to this question. As far as intercoolers, I really like my Stinger FMIC. It is big, fits well, is...

    What do you currently own...

I voted SVO, so I have no idea why I'm here. I like to think about owning a 5.0L fox, but I know I won't get rid of the SVO, and I don't want to own two Mustangs.

84 SVO: Any advantage to go with Mass Air Flow system instead Speed Density ?

Why would someone swap in lower capacity injectors? It seems like you would be having trouble with them if that were the case. The car is still essentially stock, so I see no need to switch to MAF or do any software tuning, unless you want to upgrade to the stock '85.5/'86...

84 SVO: Any advantage to go with Mass Air Flow system instead Speed Density ?

Stock injectors for that car are 30lbs, and 35lbs for the '85.5/'86 SVOs. If you know they are not 30s, what are they? Your question seems to have 2 unrelated parts: injectors, and air metering. Your injectors might be maxed out, but you'd have to tell us what the mods are before we can...

    Rangers Duratec 2.3L

Contact Kansas Racing Products. I haven't really been paying attention, but recently heard that they are selling long blocks for $600.

    SVO Turbo?

It was 175hp/210tq for the '84-'85, 205hp/248tq for the '85.5, and 200hp/240tq for the '86. However, the '85.5 and '86 are mechanically identical, and the numbers were fudged so the 2.3L wouldn't have a higher hp rating than the 5.0L, which was down to 200hp for '86.

    SVO Turbo or 5.0

It depends on what you want to do with it. The SVO is a better car in most ways, but will never have the explosive torque or exhaust note of a 5.0L.

    Nice looking tailpipes...where from?

There's a side-view picture of my 3" Flowmaster tail on the link in my sig. You really can't see where the polished part ends unless you kneel down. I bought it from Summit. As someone else already mentioned, they have "Flowmaster" tattooed on them. I'm pretty satisfied overall.

    Thinking about an S2000

There's a lot more to safety than mass.

really need a 2.3 out of something

Why not just buy an SVO?

    Thinking about an S2000

True, although in a nimble sportscar, you're more likely to avoid the situation altogether. Statistically, large sedans are safer than either. None of the above are "coffins."

    Thinking about an S2000

Thus proving my point; the S2000 is not a "coffin."

    Thinking about an S2000

This is the same attitude that leads people to believe that a large SUV is the safest choice for their family (it isn't). There is nothing unsafe about the S2000. In fact, I would bet that it's much safer than any Fox body could ever dream of being...

WTF? No hi-perf pads for SVO rear discs?

You can get EBC Greenstuff. I've never used them but I think they're supposed to be a decent performance street pad.

    Thinking about an S2000

You say that like it's a bad thing! Like the Miata, the S2000 is a brilliant handling car. The Mustang is a completely different flavor of car that favors brute force. Ideally, I'd like to have one of each.

    fox hatch owners

I agree with you somewhat, but it will be hard to make this work if the LX/GT guys don't buy them as well. If I can get a high interest level from non-SVO owners, the price will go down, and feasability of production will go up, so it's worth it to me! I will try to find a picture of an SVO...

    fox hatch owners

I'm trying to get in touch with a few aftermarket suppliers to see if anyone is interested in making a reproduction Mustang SVO rear wing. Our SVO wings are getting scarce, and quite expensive for a nice one. They crack and sag over time, and the homemade wing supports look a little cheesy. I...

    Rangers Duratec 2.3L

Not just possible weight savings, rather, significant weight savings. Our boat anchor Pintomotors are almost as heavy as a cast iron V8. The Duratec has already proven itself capable of big numbers, too.
