    I didn't remember the Variflow so I tried to Google it and found (SURPRISE!) a thread where I mentioned having a Variflow. I have no memory of it, though. I wonder if I ever used it...... Any pics of the Variflow? :)

    I'm not sure how old my FK35 is, but it has to be around 15 years old or a little more.... I had to replace the temp sensor a couple of years ago, but otherwise it is as originally installed.

    Unless things have changed, the FMS wires are (were) made by MSD... Oh, and another vote here for the Accel 300+ wires. I've had them on my car for a few years and they still look and work great.

    T5 gets Hot (HELP!)

    The console area around the shifter (including the ashtray) gets pretty hot after driving a while. Upon closer inspection, I've found the lower shift boot to be torn in a few places.... I'm going to replace it very soon and hope that takes care of my hot console... Good luck,

    You get what you pay for. Generally, MAC products are at the low end of the expensive scale. FWIW, my MAC headers have been on my car for about 9 years and have no rust to speak of, just the "bluish tint" that appeared shortly after installation. Other than that....no problems...

    http://www.svo73mm.cjb.net In short, your MC bore is too big for the calipers you are using, unless you also upgraded to the 73mm piston calipers. If you simply used '87+ Mustang calipers, that is your problem. You probably have a very stiff pedal... :shrug:

    FWIW, I wouldn't think of it as false advertising. It seems that people will call the radiator an X number of core radiator depending on the thickness.... The M8005C is one thick mutha, ain't it? :)

    I've seen the misprint in the Mustangs Unlimited catalog and a few other places, too....www.summitracing.com for one... I have the same radiator you do, aluminum core with the plastic tanks, and it is most definitely a two core. Look inside through the cap opening and you will see 2-1"...

    Minor quibble: The FMS aluminum radiator (M-8500-C) is a 2 row/core radiator. It is very wide because the cores are 1" wide, but it is not a 3 core. Anyway, if the temp rises only when you are stopped, that is a sure sign of lack of airflow across the radiator. Try spinning your fan blades...

    Agreed. If you actually purchase the proper gauge wire, fuses, switch(es), and relay(s), you will likely have spent close to what the www.dccontrol.com unit costs and still have an inferior fan controller. I use a C-H-E-A-P Hayden controller that triggers a Bosch 75a relay. It works well...
