I have 2.5" pipes with an x pipe all the way out of the rear of a 66. A drive from Sacramento to Willows convinced me to change the Magnaflows to Dynomax Super Turbos due to the drone. The Super Turbos sound like the Magnaflows. Just quieter and less drone.

I have an MSD cap and I took a look at it. I don't see where anything would come off. Do you mean that if I went to the auto parts store, and bought a factory large cap, that it would have an adaptor?

Camaros have always been faster and more expensive than the Mustang. And after the 2010 Mustang rolls out, they will look better too. The Mustang is still fun to drive, like the Miata.

From what I have read, if your car is tuned, you should have that at the flywheel. I also have the same heads, when you get the new pistons, make sure they are cut for the large valves that are installed in your Twisted Wedge heads. I remember reading that you do not need to cut the pistons...

I vote to stay with the 351w. Even if you want something more exotic and can afford the custom work, it still would be my choice. You can do tons with them.

Your car is pretty sweet. You should make a vid. Is the supercharger off of a 5.0? Where did you get the radiator?

4 speed with 3.55 here. They are fun on the street. I have mangaflows and they do get kinda noisy on the freeway after a few mins. The gears are not that far apart, so you should be happy with either ratio after swapping out the 2.9 gears.

I have factory maual front disks and they are ok. I used to daily drive my mustang. It had a 4 speed and front disks and they never were a problem except when I REALLY needed to stop. For normal use they are ok, but brakes have come a long way in 40 years.

I second the vote for a stroker. I built my 93 5.0 a few years ago and wish I would have spent a little more and bought the stroker kit.

Can you use a Hurst Competition Plus shifter with a side loader? I have a side loader and I would like to get the shifts a little tighter.

I would also vote for brakes. I built my motor hotter and got the body looking nice, but I don't enjoy driving it around becasue I know I can't stop too well. My tax return check is going towards a power disk brake kit from NPD.
