For Sale Brand new, unpainted rear bumper for 2013-2014 Mustangs, free to good home

Greetings, I'm helping my dad sell a bumper he's been sitting on for several years... the car bumped into a curb years back and he'd been meaning to paint it to match his car and install it, but... well, he's old and doesn't want to. Finally had insurance take care of it a few months ago. It...

Fox body power steering pump on a classic? (primary concern - pressure)

Minor update (after many years, there was a 2 year move across the country and back which interfered). Glad I did a quick search, I was close to punching in a very big repost ;) So Summit also recommended a pressure reducer. To recap, I'm using: Pump - ADO-36p1212, which has many applications...

Speedometer, temp, and fuel gauge issues (fox t5/late 5.8 in classic)

I have a 66' with a 408 stroker (based on a 95 roller 351w block), with a T-5z. Posting to the fox forums because the engine / trans are more fox than classic (and the extra traffic doesn't hurt). My stock gauge cluster has always had... issues. The temp gauge and pressure gauge in...

    T5 vs Toploader 4 speed???

This. I had a 360hp/400tq 351w behind a *very* used 89T5 for almost a decade. Granted not a ton of annual use by me, but other than a little whine in 2nd (which I was convinced was just miles before me, not due to the power), it did fine. I bought it for $450 and sold it for $300. And I now...

Fox body power steering pump on a classic? (primary concern - pressure)

I want to throw a clean serpentine setup on my mustang (66 mustang, 408w... electric fan)... currently has a serpentine setup out of a ~90 bronco, including the power steering pump. The local pepboys made the stock rubber hoses work well (actually did a great job, looks pretty damn good), but...

Anyone Running 12.2" Wilwoods With 15" Wheels?

I'm considering throwing a pile of money at front and rear 12.19" Wilwoods all around (likely 6 piston up front and 4 piston in back). I have Granadas up front and drums in back, which work better than all-drums that were on it 15 years ago, but driving anything remotely modern makes me yearn...

Relatively Low Profile Single Plane For 351w In A 66?

Basically looks like this one is the only real fit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-5081/overview/make/ford Its actually a little shorter in total height than a Stealth.. at 4.1x" vs 4.7x" (though those aren't always apples to apples measurements). Anyone have any experience with it?

Relatively Low Profile Single Plane For 351w In A 66?

I have a 408 stroker that is getting rebuilt in my 66. It currently has a Weiand Stealth on it, which has been a great intake, but frankly the thing makes more torque than I'm ever going to need and for the purposes of part longevity, tire life, keeping the thing going straight and so forth I...

    7qt Pan For 351w In A 66?

My 408 will only go to about 6500 rpm. If its working for you at 7500 then it ought to make me happy. Interesting. 15-660S @ summit = https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ctr-15-660 Could S mean summit? They seem to have only 'S' labelled part numbers, and seems to have a scraper (per...

    7qt Pan For 351w In A 66?

sweet, looks good whats your opinion on high volume / standard pumps? i was always definitely told not to run HV w/ a standard pan ; some people.. if i recall... said don't even run a HV with a 7 or 8 quart. my memory suggests oil starvation issues were kind of common, but i'm not an expert...

    7qt Pan For 351w In A 66?

Need a 7-8qt pan for a 351w in my 66. Current pan is 5 qts, dipstick is on passenger side. Hoping to avoid fitment issues, slightly wary of just buying a fox body pan. Mounts and such are all stock to my knowledge. I may have used 65 motor mounts to drop the engine a bit... 10 years ago...

Fox Coast High Performance 408 Throws A Bearing After 10 Months, 900 Miles... How To Proceed...

I did actually ask CHP about why they suggest 5w20... I've always used 10w40 in SBFs and other old cars (and basically everything except my newer focus). They were adamant 5w20 conventional was the way to go, which is what it got. Definitely surprised me too. My new focus uses 5w20, but...

Fox Coast High Performance 408 Throws A Bearing After 10 Months, 900 Miles... How To Proceed...

we'll have to pull it, don't really see any way around it. i did check the rods and none seemed to move. i'll have to make it up to my parents again to pull it, which won't be for a few weeks. It really doesn't though. I knew as soon as I dropped the oil that a bearing failed. ie.. the...

Fox Coast High Performance 408 Throws A Bearing After 10 Months, 900 Miles... How To Proceed...

Finally got the car to my parents house and was able to drop the pan. Tons of debris / flakes in the pan, but looking up from the underside of the engine its not clear which bearing(s) it might me coming from. Is there any trick to this (this being finding the bearing thats bad, and...

Fox Coast High Performance 408 Throws A Bearing After 10 Months, 900 Miles... How To Proceed...

No. I thought that picture was sharp enough that maybe someone with a better eye would see it, but since it isn't... I'm going to try to stop by the car after work, maybe with a magnet, to see if i can see it/fish it out if its loose. I guess the pushrod just engages into the bottom of the...
