    A friend of mine is running the TFS/Summit combo on a stock shortblock. Roughly how much timing should run with 91 octane? I seem to remember that you can advance timing a few more degrees with aluminum heads over irons because of their heat dissipating qualities. Thanks!

    I'm glad I'm not the only dumbass who has done this :rlaugh: I didn't feel like pulling the intake though, so I blocked off the PCV passage and ran a breather cap. Definitely not the smartest idea in the world, but sometimes ya just don't give a shiit ya know? EDIT: This wasn't on the 327...

    The irons won't dissipate heat as well. They will be more detonation prone. Just keep that in mind.
