High Oil Pressure And Temperature Gauge

Starter fixed it. I threw on a couple more grounds to be safe.

High Oil Pressure And Temperature Gauge

I replaced the main grounds with 2 gauge wire and it's still happening. I'm beginning to think the starter that tested good is actually bad (it appears to be the original).

    Lowest Profile 800hp Intercooler

Low profile how? Thinner? Narrower? Shorter? A vertical flow intercooler will give you the smallest overall package that will support the most horsepower. The overall height will be slightly taller due to the large end caps, but the width can be substantially less.

High Oil Pressure And Temperature Gauge

Thanks! That's about what I figured. There are a few more grounds to check than I realized though.

High Oil Pressure And Temperature Gauge

Update: The car no longer starts with the starter. When attempted, I get a clicking sound and a small puff of smoke rises out of the center console ebrake area. I am able to push start it via popping the clutch. I have pulled the started and verified it's functional. Battery voltage is...

High Oil Pressure And Temperature Gauge

It's tough to say, as I seem to be only driving with the lights and heat on. I will say that the drive home yesterday with the headlights off gave the same behavior, while the drive to work this morning wasn't quite as bad.

High Oil Pressure And Temperature Gauge

I just picked up a 95 GT Vert that is displaying odd gauge behavior. When cold, the temperature gauge reads normal and the oil pressure gauge reads high (L on the gauge). After warmed up, the temperature fluctuates (over a period of a few seconds) from A to fully pegged and the oil pressure...

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

I'm with ya people. I think I'm leaving it alone!

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

The mileage say 88k, but who knows if it's 188. The pedals don't look too worn...but of course if it was highway miles they wouldn't be anyways. My guess would be 188 though. Fastdriver...what do you think would be some estimates on everything else...meaning keeping the engine and maybe...

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

OK, I have compiled a list of some conservative estimates on prices to fix. I could likely get away with ~ $500 less by offering $1750 and cutting down on some overestimates. Regardless, would this vehicle be worth ~ $5500? Keep in mind, this car would have all new seals/weather-stripping...

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

The front bumper has most certainly been replaced (it is indeed black). Also, the drivers seat is not bolted down...it is not bent.

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

Mustang5L5, I didn't know black wasn't an option in 89...good to know. He claimed the interior original black, but based on whoever he bought it from. Really, I'm not looking to save for a mustang. If it's a great deal, I might just pick it up to pick it up. Otherwise, I have no need to buy it.

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

The interior really isn't that bad (mostly dirty with some missing pieces). I figured that a collision occurred at some point, as I don't know how those door dent's could have happened otherwise. The body is relatively straight still however. The question is...is it worth cleaning up, or...

Deal or No? 89 Vert with h/c/i

I have the opportunity to pick up a 89 convertible with the following mods for what seams like pretty cheap. The motor has not been broken in yet. It has brand to TFS heads/cam/intake. Inside is forged flat top pistons/rods. The following are all brand new: Throttle body, alternator, PS...

    Ignition for 97 Cobra

I've heard many praising the boost a spark. Post a follow up on how it works. :nice:

    Ignition for 97 Cobra

It seems to me many guys are running the stock ignition setup comfortably with boost without a ignition box. Before you commit on the upgrade, I'd do some searching on exactly how much the stock ignition setup is capable of handling.

    Overheating/Water issues

Back when I had gt40p's I lifted the heads with due to a improperly installed boost controller (spiked to 18psi!), I never again could get those damn heads to not lift…even while running as low as 8psi. I went as far as to o-ring the block and install some stainless rings…still with no luck...
