    I run the Performance Automatic full manual vb in my car...its pretty simple...you control all the shifting on your own...whatever gear your shifter is in, is what the trans is in. I had to wire up an o/d switch as well...

    The main PITA for a converter install is yanking the heavy trans...and putting it back in...make sure you drain the fluid...and when you yank out the old converter, watch out for some fluid that is still in the converter...put some fluid on the input of the new converter and slide it in...oh...

    I am pleased with the hammer shifter...I like the way it ratchets into each gear, it helps me out since I have a full manual valvebody.

    I checked the box in the garage but no instructions were in it... :shrug: I will check around the house tomorrow...or I may have left them in my car which is up at the shop, I will check on it tomorrow. If I dont have them up by tomorrow night, I suggest the same, they keep the instructions...

    I have the instructions in the garage somewhere...whenever I get a chance, I will scan them in and post them up... The last thing I knew was that it was just a billet T-handle for the stock shifter...but I could be wrong...

    If its clogged up enough it could throw a CEL relating to a lean condition, yes. If you haven't replaced the fuel filter since you got your car, just do it. Like I said, its cheap insurance and you can rule out one more problem.

    I don't think its an O2 sensor. My car ran fine for 4 days w/o O2 sensors waiting for my O2 Extenders. Replace your fuel filter. Its cheap at any O'Reileys or Autozone and you can do it in less than 20 minutes in your driveway.

    Screen in MAF

    I removed my MAF screen a while back and felt no difference. :shrug: Later I was told by my autoshop teacher that the screen is actually used to 'straighten' the air and reduce turbulence in the MAF.
