    Time to sell, need advice

Thanks for the input, my thinking is I'll go the ebay route since it will reach a good number of people who might be interested. I checked into the pricing, and its not as bad as I remember (not a % of the sale), so that's good.

    Time to sell, need advice

So after 15 years of owning, building, restoring, driving, polishing and loving my stang, I have come to the difficult conclusion that it is probably time to part with her. A number of factors are in play leading me to need to part with it, not the least of which is a new little one running...

    Muffler decisions, need advice

Agreed, but short of going with a 70 series flow, I'm not sure I have many options. Anyone have any good ideas for tailpipes? Pics?

    Muffler decisions, need advice

Ok need to quiet the stang down a bit, it's a little over the top. The red paint job is attracting way too much attention, and the exhaust isn't helping. I have 3" pipes with turndowns before the axle and 50 series NONdelta flows (old type). I'm not really interested in going with tailpipes...

How do i lessen the Flowmaster drone?

Seems I have the same problem - but I'm not interested in adding tailpipes. My local exhaust guy is telling me to put on some flowmaster 70 series to get it quieted down a bit. Considering the option... anyone else run those?

    which rad?

I put one of those in recently, but I'm having some trouble with that -- where did you mount the thermostat? In the radiator or in the cylinder head/block? The fans aren't coming on soon enough, and I think it has something to do with where I mounted the thermostat - on the inbound side of...

    64.5 Painless wiring: steering column

You know, the way people talked about these things, it sounded like I was going to have to plug my ears when I hit the horn because some bozo decided to merge his corolla into my new paint job. Well, it gets the job done, and they're perfect for where I mounted them, but I wouldn't say they...

    64.5 Painless wiring: steering column

I just got done installing the same kit in my 65. For the hazard switch, you can pick one of those up on ebay and it bolts right in. Just run those particular wires down to the lower left side of the dash, not the steering column. If you don't want to use it, you can just tape off the end...

I need a muscle car sound

I've got 3 chamber flowmasters, 3in from the header to the muffler, then dumping out before the axle. It's loud. I'm looking for a good way to quiet it down a bit, but not so much that it sounds ridiculous. Not sure if the best way would be to take the exhaust up and over the axle or just...

    timing mark and pointer missing

Ok so what if you don't have a vacuum hookup on the intake, what then? Any way to reestablish the timing marks on the pulley?

spark plugs too hot - WR5? Autolite 45s?

I think I'm running too hot a plug right now, seem to be getting some detonation at high RPMs under load, which isn't good. I'm running a set of NGK WR5IX Iridiums, and I think those are too hot. I used to run the NGK WR5's without a problem -- anyone else running a high compression SB with a...

    Ready for the road!

18 months after the project began and thanks to the advice provided by the good people of StangNet, I finished the second round of resto-modifications to the stang. Among the modifications are a new paint job, wheels, tires, painless wiring, new back seat, carpet, insulation, dash...
