    Electrical Noob Needs Help...

Thanks for the input guys. Upon further research and input from other forums as well as calling Cooper Bussmann tech support, I found that it is the new circuit that is limited to 10 amps because of the size of the wire pigtail. I wound up putting the add a circuit in the circuit for the...

    Electrical Noob Needs Help...

Have a 2001 Mustang GT and I am working on installing a Dakota Digital Oil Pressure gauge. Working on getting power to the gauge and let me say, I HATE WIRING! I was hoping to not hack into the wiring harness, would rather use an add a circuit. The problem is the add a circuit is limited to...

    ABS brake question

Hey guys, haven''t been around in a while. I am still deep into my two wheel obsession but, have a problem I was hoping you all can help me with. I recently replaced the front rotors with plain Brembo OEM type rotors and Motorcraft pads. From what I have always been told, when compressing...

    Brembo Rotors

Hey all, been a while since I have posted. After a 6 year layoff I have been bitten by the motorcycle bug again and have sort of neglected my baby. After 72,000 miles the stock pads finally have given up. I am replacing the rotors and pads. I got a set of Brembo rotors from the Tire Rack and...

Is this a good price for Dynamat?

Good information, thanks for the post. Can you suggest a good place to buy Dynamat at the best price? I was just going to get it directly from them or possibly from Summit Racing. Can I get a better price elsewhere? Can you go into more detail on your install? I would like to do the...

    QUICK QUICK OIL QUESTION--00 GT

I would take anything you hear in the dealership with a grain of salt. I certainly wouldn't consider it as the best place to learn about your car :D I believe what you are thinking about is that 99-00 Mustangs used the Windsor block whereas 01 and up use the Romeo block. The Romeo block was...

Is this a good price for Dynamat?

You also need to factor in the weight you are adding when you double up with those other products. If you are adding it to your floor, the doors and the trunk that can add up to a lot of extra weight. Just another thing to factor into the equation. For me, dynamat is worth the extra cost.

Will not buy Fox Lake products again

Here is the root of the reason why you are getting so much flack here and over at MD. It probably would have been better if you had called Fox Lake before you started posting negative threads. You didn't even give them a chance to try and make things right. I can definitely understand your...

    02 GT Belt problems

Might be time to replace the tensioner and idler pulleys. I would drop in a Gatorback belt while you are at it. Stick with Motorcraft replacements. Here are the old parts. Here are the new parts installed along with the Gatorback Belt

Will not buy Fox Lake products again

Just for clarification did you talk to Ron before or after you posted your threads here and on MD? The impression that I got from your other thread is that you had not talked to them at all before posting.

    Need Help ASAP

I would NOT use a flat head screwdriver. It is a lot cheaper to buy the fuel line disconnect tool than it is to replace the fuel line if you mess up those connections. You should be able to get the fuel line disconnect tools at any auto parts store. Here is a really good article on changing...

    Need Help ASAP

Yup, mine would run perfectly then it would sputter and stall and the ABS light would be lit. Sometimes it would restart after a few tries and then would be fine for the rest of the day. I had to take it back to the dealer twice before they finally figured out it was the battery. Swapped it...

    rear end leaking

Here is one of the best articles I have seen on changing the rear diff fluid. http://www.bullittarchive.com/html/modules/articles/article.php?id=71 I wouldn't mess with the aftermarket covers unless you are putting down enough power to need one. With a little bit of elbow grease and metal...

    rear end leaking

Pssst hey Kilgore Trout and forpit2000gt, you guys are talking about the same thing :p It is just semantics, Mobil calls it Gear Lube. Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-140 http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Other_Products/Mobil_1_Fully_Synthetic_Gear_Lube_75W-140LS.aspx...

    Need Help ASAP

When I first bought my 2001 GT I had the same symptoms, the ABS light would come on while driving and the car would stall. Turned out to be a bad battery.

    4r70w question

I would definitely add one. If you are using the performance tune it does alter the parameters of the transmission which is going to make it work harder. Even completely stock a tranny cooler is a good investment. Here is a thread that has links to the setup I am working on for my GT...

Auto Guys...how Happy Are U With The Ride.

Nah, the Mach 1 could be had with an automatic. Ford wanted the drag racer image with the Mach 1 and for a lot of people that means an automatic. Here is a spec sheet from www.mach1registry.com http://www.mach1registry.com/Specs/Specs.htm

Auto Guys...how Happy Are U With The Ride.

I don't think it is just the auto that is bugging him. He is probably used to the low end torque that you would see in a Jeep. Keep in mind that modular motors need to be revved in order to get into their power bands and he is probably not used to that. Guys coming from 5.0 Mustangs tend to...
