    no sweat i use mothers mag alum polish....i do 3"-4" sections at a time....u have to scrub it till it turns blaccckk ..just put on some music and take ur time..then polish clean ..it took me an hour and a half to do my front skinnies including scrubbing the wheels and tires with eagle one orange...

    to fix the cowl get a bunch of different sizes of wood....small enough to go under the grill and fit between the wiper linkage...u get something L shaped and pry and pop it out make sure to flatten the kink or it will pop back in no time.....i fogot exactly what tools i used but it only took 15...

    "the stock quadrant and mounting shafts are the same on your car" i agree its the same but its surroundings is the problem ...i dropped the column wacked the beam and it slipped right on the frirst try ....btw dropping the coulmn is really not needed..its just more stuff for me to put back...
