    Why should 4.10's be out? Take my word for it and go at least 4.10, if not 4.30. I was thinking like you are and put 3.73's in mine. And now they're coming back out and 4.30's are going in. And yes my car is my daily driver.

    Take my word for it. Go 4.10 minimum. I put 3.73's in my 96, and yeah I could tell a difference, but not near as much as I had hoped. But then again, if you're set on 3.73's you can buy mine, and I'll just go get some 4.30's........ :D

    I see you're from Indiana....... Is the GT black in color and the owner's name Tommy by any chance? If so, you will have your hands full. For some reason that car is a freak, and flat out hauls........

    3.73 or 4.10 gears

    Go with 4.10 minimum. I've got 3.73's, and while they are definitely better than stock, there's room for a lot more. I'm thinking of pulling my 3.73's and going 4.30's.

    which u/d pulleys and cai??

    Definitely go with Steeda pullies. I just put them on my car 2 weeks ago, smooth install, and work great. As far as the CAI, I am about to install the WMS Velocity kit on mine. I can't comment yet on performance gain, but the quality is top notch.
