    A real spring question...

When talking about springs, the important question to ask is the spring rate, and whether they are linear or progressive. The spring rate is the determining factor of how it handles, and then you have to match the spring rate with the right shocks/struts. What kind of handling are you looking...

    Shocks/Struts: Warranty Work

They will replace it if it is within the 3year/36k mile warranty. But then you are stuck with stock crap shocks again. If you have the money, just upgrade to some better ones...Tokico, Bilstein, etc.

    Clutch Time....Need some input.

My centerforce dual friction is real streetable. I don't even know there is a difference now.

255/45s all around on stock rims?

I do and like them. I believe there is a 1% difference in overall diameter, but it shouldn't effect anything.

Long tube headers alone will get you at least 10-20

CenterForce Dual Friction...Please tell me what you know.

I've been happy with mine. Had it for over a year with about 6k miles. Had the trans out last month, and the clutch is holding up just fine. Everything looked good, but a few burn spots on the flywheel. I drive the car hard and the clutch never skips a beat, but be prepared for a little...

    Looking to add more horsepower.

Just save your money for a supercharger. You will be much happier in the end. Don't do the 3" pipes..it is overkill. Headers a good choice, but if you don't plan on doing the install yourself, be prepared to pay a lot. A new midpipe will help also, but the difference between a high flow...

    WHEN TRANSMISSON OIL CHANGE???

I understand your point propellerhead, but think of it this way. I want my car to perform at it's best all the time. Take batteries for example. You could leave them in the flashlight until the bulb barely evens lights up, but most likely you want the flashlight to shine as bright as possible...

When should I change my spark plugs?

I used to run NGK TR-55 (part #3951), but last time I went back to motorcraft AWSF-32C. Copper plugs have a hotter spark, while the platinums are just made for longevity.

    stang starts, then immediately dies..thoughts?

Also try a new fuel filter. That is a cheap $10 fix.

When should I change my spark plugs?

Why do feel that you have no need to replace them? Most people will tell you that no plug is good after 15k miles.

    WHEN TRANSMISSON OIL CHANGE???

I would think that autos should be changed more frequently due to the fluid actually doing more work than in a manual trans. BTW I disregard everything the manual says. For example, air filters are good for 20k miles, don't change plugs for 100k, etc. It is a generic guideline, and to me a...

    STEEDA Cat-Back Exhaust

I like mine, especially with the magnaflow catted x-pipe. There is no need to run a 3" exhaust unless you are considering some serious boost down the road.

When should I change my spark plugs?

Ditch the platinum plugs and run coppers. I change mine every year (about 5k miles a year). They are so easy to do..takes no more than 30 minutes.

    WHEN TRANSMISSON OIL CHANGE???

I changed mine at 10k also. Just did it again last month at 18k.

    New emission testing & MIL's

Has anyone had any experience with the new emission testing while they had MIL's installed on their car? For those who don't know what I am talking about...all cars 96-up no longer require to be run on the rollers (kind of like a dyno). The emission testers will simply plug into the OBD II...

    Handling, Suspension Upgrade???

Are you auto-x or just for the street? I would look into some kind of suspension package from a company and then stick with them. You will find that some components from one manufacturer are not compatable with others. Like I said before, if money is not an object than check out Griggs racing...
