    dcc control mounting

Sounds interesting. I'll have to take a look at the bumper to get a better idea of what you're talking about, but hiding it would certainly satisfy my "clean freak" approach to the engine bay.

    black interior conversion.

I did this a couple of years ago and it's still holding up really well. One extra step I took was to put a couple light coats of clear over the black. This helped bring out a little bit of a shine to the flat black and also really helps with scratches and chips. Before: After:

    dcc control mounting

So I ordered a dcc fan control setup from Brian a little over a year ago but never got a chance to install it. I was planning on working on it this weekend but I'm having trouble picturing a decent mounting location. I was hoping to get some input or ideas from anyone that has installed one...

? For anyone that knows aftermarket alarms

You definitely want to use the purple/yellow wire at the switch in the glove box. Depending on the type of alarm, you might need to switch the polarity of the signal with a relay. The purple/yellow wire is triggered with 12v+. If the alarm you are using doesn't have a dedicated trunk channel...

Misfiring, loss of power, popping. Where to start?

Small update...after new plugs, wires, cap/rotor, clean MAF, and flooding the Dist bowl, the popping seemed to have vanished. I still noticed some random hesitation and the lean code for the right O2 sensor was still present. I replaced the O2 sensors today and so far so good. The CEL...

Need help connecting cd player to amp on 93 fox

Well it all depends on what type of amp and head unit you have. Typically you will need to run a remote turn on wire and signal wires between the head unit and the amp. If your head unit has RCA preouts then you will want to use those. Specific sub preouts would be the best choice. Then...

    A/C Leak

Chances are all the freon is gone anyway, so you won't have to evacuate. I swapped the compressor, dryer, and hoses a while back when the compressor seized. You will need the A/C disconnect tools to replace the lines. I ended up getting the replacement lines at Napa, but I'm sure other places...

Misfiring, loss of power, popping. Where to start?

The CEL came back on today and I pulled code 173 by itself this time. Im guessing its an ignition problem since the right bank is reading rich? I'm running all stock ignition and fuel systems. I pulled the wires and tested them with a DMM. I didn't notice any irregular measurements and there...

Misfiring, loss of power, popping. Where to start?

Ahh good catch, I completely forgot to clear them after fixing the line. I went out this afternoon, cleared the codes, and drove the car for about 45 min. I didn't see the CEL come on again, but 45 min is a pretty quick test. However the light had been switching on and off pretty frequently...

Misfiring, loss of power, popping. Where to start?

Hey folks, I've got an issue and I'm really not sure where to start. I'm hoping to narrow down the possible culprits before I just start replacing parts. The main problem is limited to the right side. There is hesitation and a loss of power with popping in the right exhaust during...

Alpine CDA 9885 or CDA 9887?

Looks like the 9887 just adds some higher sound quality features. Things like the 24 bit Burr-Brown converter, equalizer, time alignment, and low/high pass filters for the amps. If you want more options to improve the overall sound quality then the 9887 does offer that. I've never used the...

    Finished the interior conversion

Yes those are definitely nice eckoblazer but just a bit over my price range for seats currently.

    Finished the interior conversion

Thanks for the link Kingcater. I'm still trying to decide on which route to take with the seats. Lots of options out there between new and used seats. I guess the toughest choice is staying with cloth or trying vinyl or leather.
