You definitely want to use the purple/yellow wire at the switch in the glove box. Depending on the type of alarm, you might need to switch the polarity of the signal with a relay. The purple/yellow wire is triggered with 12v+. If the alarm you are using doesn't have a dedicated trunk channel...

Well it all depends on what type of amp and head unit you have. Typically you will need to run a remote turn on wire and signal wires between the head unit and the amp. If your head unit has RCA preouts then you will want to use those. Specific sub preouts would be the best choice. Then...

Thanks for the link Kingcater. I'm still trying to decide on which route to take with the seats. Lots of options out there between new and used seats. I guess the toughest choice is staying with cloth or trying vinyl or leather.
