    questions on my 351

    I would look into the K&N airfilters regardless of carb or EFI. The K&N will let more air into the carb. The headers are up to you, you wont get a monster gain from the LT headers but in the future with any other mods the LTs will pick up more than the Shorties. Just my .02

    351 heads

    They can be worth it but so can the GT40 iron heads and even some of the older windsor jr heads. I would hold off and buy a set of performance heads, as the 351 heads would be more expensive to get the flow numbers as the other heads listed above.....

    by the time you balance the assembly you could have purchased a decent Eagle crank/rod combo with some keith black or Probe forged pistons... hawk has a tendency to be very pricey when balancing the crank, as the person above me stated you dont know what rods are in the kit either.... look...

    By the time you do all of that work and buy your kit you will find it just as or more economical to have bought a shrtblock from DSS or CHP. Check pricing from both places before you do anything and I would speak to Brian at adperformance.com He may be able to help you out some also......

    Victor jrs to my knowledge only come in 2.05 intake valves, you may want to check on the edelbrock website though just to make sure. A tfs twisted wedge would be better if you are going to keep the stock pistons in it...... Just my .02
