That looks to be an aluminum block too. notice around the water pump and center valley between the heads. I thought for was staying with the iron block? I don't like the plastic runners either. But I guess if it is an aluminum block it will help with lightening up the pony. :nice:

What year car are you putting it on? I have a bassani X/w cats and the Magnaflow CB on my 03 and it sounds real good, also if your state does a visual inpection it will pass. I would say go with the full Magnaflow set up. :nice:

If you want to get alittle more of a drop but still keep from having noise from the springs you can remove the isolator which is about 5/8" thick and cut a circle out of some 1/8" rubber sheet to replace it with. Instant 1/2" additional drop. :nice:
