The 01 cobra uses a cast aluminum block and the 03 is on a cast iron block. The 03 also has alum heads and manley forged h-beam rods. Thats all I know though, I'm sure someone else around here has more info man.

Alum flywheels are a waste if you're going to drag race, I would only get a alum flywheel for road racing.

I have 3.73s in the rear and launching at 4500, I dont remember it bogging just spinning off the line. I had 7lbs in the airbag on those runs. When I did my best 14.20 2.17 60ft at 98mph I had I think 14lbs in the bag, I totally forgot at the track at the time to adjust air pressure.

I went to the track last sat and my 60fts were all in the 2.30-2.60 range, really bad but my mph trap speed was between 96-98mph. Motor is stock with 100k on it with just full exchaust, cai and 14* timing. Suspension is front swaybar delete, lakewood 90/10s front, 50/50s rear, maximum...

Sorry dont mean to hijack this thread but I'm haven the same problem with traction. Stock differential was rebuilt with new clutches ect. I do 1st gear burnouts too, launching @ 2000 rpm and have absolutely no traction haha. I have the same tires with 11lbs of air. I either bog it or loose...

Samething that 88pos said, you'll have to roll the fender lip. I had to do the samething but thats the price you pay if you wanna race :)

baxter did you install the airbag in the rear? If so how much air do you run at the track?
