    So, is timing now your only idle control other than a hole in the tb or the set screw? And this holds a better idle than an IAC? You must have had some serious problems to get rid of you IAC.

    You're going to have to get the code scanned or you will just be running around like a chicken with you head cut off. If you made a throttle cable mod, then maybe it's going to be some sort of code from your tp sensor?

    I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't be putting any RTV on my intake gaskets. It could get sucked up into the intake and possibly cause some problems.

    Fog light problem

    Mine is the same way and I also think it's from the condensation inside of the driver's side. I tried to clean it out once before and it was pretty dirty inside, but I can't keep moisture out of it. I think I just need new housings.

    The only way that it could be be burning oil is if there is oil gettting into the combustion chamber. That is usually a sign of internal engine damage. As GTBlack said about the metal shaving thing, this could defintely score the cylinder wall and cause oil to get past the rings. Could also...

    Please Help Driveability Problem

    I'm thinking that you may have some issues with that MAF while the car is still in open loop in the mornings or possibly and O2 sensor problem. I would think that there would be a check engine light though if it were the O2 sensors.
