    Yes, it's a mass produced American car. It will depreciate rather rapidly, especially in the first few years. There will be tons made, so I don't see it being any better than the previous generation. Buying a newer Mustang is not an investment (even a Cobra), so you can't think of it that way...

    When you say company, are you referring to Ford? They don't stand to make a dime if the dealers mark up the cars. As for the dealers, you bet they are going to match the supply and demand with markups. And for the record, considering Ford has not released the pricing, they are just guessing...

    Some people simply don't like the color or if they do, don't want to shell out the additional $5K. Personally I love it, but would have a problem with the additional cost. As mentioned, in the long run it will retain it's value much better than a "regular" Cobra. Just hard to fork it out now...
