Buying new upholstery - help decide on color

So I'm going with the 5.0Resto upholstery kit to replace the worn leather in my '90 GT. The factory color is Titanium Grey which I was originally going to go with in cloth but now I'm second guessing and think maybe I should do Black seats. Does anyone have black seats in an otherwise grey...

    Door lock help needed

Yes, the power window switches still work. I'll try cleaning the lock switch and go from there. Hopefully that's the problem.

That's right, the passenger door lock button works fine for both doors but the drivers side button does nothing - no lock or unlock.

    Door lock help needed

Ever since I replaced my heater core my drivers side door lock button will not work. The passenger side putton works to lock/unlock both doors but the drivers does nothing. I'm sure that all the connections are together. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does it make sense that one button works...

    Seat Options

I would like to replace my cracked up leather seats in my ’90 with something else. I know a lot of people opted for the 94+ seats, but what else has been used? Are there seats from other vehicles (not necessarily Fords) that fit well in a mustang? I am not into buying “racing seats” for it and...

    Cruise not working

I’m replacing the heater core in my ’90 this weekend and would also like to get my cruise working at the same time. Beyond the obvious fuse check what should I look for? What’s the common cause of cruise control not working? For background, it always used to work, sometimes you would have to...

    Cat-backs

My current system is shot - thats why I'm looking for a complete catback. I've done some research on the Pypes system and it looks impressive. As for performance parts, i plan to keep it bassically stock for the time being... maybe sometime down the raod I'll throw money at it.

    Cat-backs

I’m in the market for a very affordable (cheap as possible) catback system. So far I’ve found the Summit brand catback and the Pypes Violator catback to be the least expensive. Does anyone have any experience with either of these systems? What would they compare to in terms of sound? All...

    Movement in Steering Wheel

Is there a bushing or bearing in the steering column that can be replaced. I can litterally move my steering wheel up/down - right/left, it feels like it is worn out and I'd like to get rid of that movement.

    Sub Frame Connectors

I'm not looking for something outragious, the car is a daily driver. Just need something that will stiffen it up a bit. So yes, the best bang for the buck.

    Need help locating a part

I am having troubles finding a part for my ‘96 4.6L, not sure exactly what it is called but it is a separate part that bolts the block which the oil pressure sending unit mounts to along with the lower rad hose and oil filter. The oil pressure sending unit blew clean out of this part and I...

    Checking for worn suspension parts

What is the most effective way to check for a) worn ball joints, b) worn tie rods and c) worn bushings? Changing struts so I want to make sure all else is good since I am taking it apart anyway. BTW, shouldn’t make any difference, but this is on a Ford Escape.

    Anyone have a 4.6L core?

I thought that a crown vic would work too but as it turns out this part has to from a 96-98 4.6 mustang, 94-97 thunderbird/cougar or 94-98 lincoln mark 7 (I think it is the 7?) So must have a different part to bolt on baseed on clearance for different vehicles.
