    Alls I got to say is, you people need to invest in good jacks...and some jackstands. Dear god, why put yourself under the tranny when a jack can be there, thus enabling you the ability to MOVE AROUND while wrestling it free.

    A big block is just that, bigger, in all regard, larger pistons, block, intake, etc. Basically they allowed more displacement. A general rule of thumb is an engine larger than 400cid is a BB, and smaller is a SB. But that's not really a great guide, since there are SB larger than 400 and BB...

    If they had supplied the transmission, and the first one had been bad, you wouldn't have had to pay for the second one...but since you supplied the trans, the fact it was a faulty trans was your fault, not theirs.
