    Vent switch issue

There's a small hard vacuum line on the passenger side under the hood that supplies vacuum to the actuator.. Look for one that goes into the firewall.

    PCV Hoses

Does anyone know the purpose of the pcv having 2 connections on the upper intake to draw vacuum? I have the bottom one on the plenum capped off and am pulling vacuum through pcv via the one on the rear. Are there any benefits to the 2 hoses tee'd together factory approach?

What kind of cam and exhaust are you running? They both can play a role in this as well.

Thanks everybody. :) Whenever I get a video with my fiances camera then I will post one with a rev for ya. Oh and those GT40p's have a lil over 40 hrs worth of careful massaging done to them. ;) They perform way beyond anything I ever expected from them.

Video of my blue 95 GT

Well, I finally got around to putting up a video of my car. The volume is kind of low because I had to take it with my iphone. You may have to turn it up to hear it. I hope you enjoy. YouTube - My 1995 Mustang GT at idle.

    Force o\l at idle?

I think I may have got it. I changed: NIOLD Fuel - Max Time Open Loop Idle from Stock "255" to 0. Some ppl over at eectuning suggested this and it seems to be working.

    Speaker Question

I'm pretty sure they are 6x8's. Crutchfield back when I was working on mine had 6x8's listed as stock and 5x7's will work in the holes as well.

new 331 - feels like it has 100hp

It doesn't sound like the engine is at fault. It sounds more like a bad install. Check firing order, all vacuum lines, and test the whole intake system from maf to heads for proper seal to make sure there is no vacuum leaks there. After that, I would put a timing light on it and make sure it's...

    Cam Question

The fuel pump for the sequential fuel injection in these cars is a higher pressure lower volume pump. Carb setups run MUCH less pressure, but are rated at relatively high volumes. The pump you have now is designed to supply 39+ psi at a certain flowrate. The carb pumps are designed to run below 10.

    Cam Question

EFI cam's generally have a wider lobe separation angle. The "carb" cams can run tighter lsa's without worrying about the eec freaking out. They are just more aggressive. You CAN run them in EFI applications, but you have oftentimes have to tune the eec to behave with the tighter lsa and greater...

need help with setting a base tune

What software are you using to tune it? I am only familiar with Binary Editor, so I wanna get an idea of what you're using because I'm not sure if some of the terms may be different.

help me havin cut out probs at high rpm!!!

I really don't think it's float either but I did have a strange issue with harmonics when I was runnin a b303 with stock spring e7's. It was just like a weird miss or rough spot around 3k. I had no idea what it was until I changed to my heads now with mouley springs and it disappeared. Now Im...

need help with setting a base tune

Become a member of the eectuning dot org forum. There is alot to be learned over there as well as very helpful ppl. Also, there are lots of templates on tunexchange that you could use. I personally think it's best to leave the global adder at 0 and set tune the entire curve based on load and...

need help with setting a base tune

I couldn't help but notice that he is running stock injectors. There is alot of stuff in the cobra tune geared around the 24lb'ers they have. One instance is injector offset vs batt voltage. They also have different MAF transfer functions etc. It can be made to work, but you have to keep in mind...

Yup. That'd be it. Really simple. Well, except for the bending the 3" pipe to fit under a SN95. lol

    Exhaust sound difference.

I've got a fairly well breathing H\C\I, but my car sounds even more evil now. It's a little bit different that the typical mustang exhaust setup though. I have a cam that's valve event are rather well suited to an open header environment. I noticed while doing some work under my car that my off...

    help me pick a cam

He does have gt40p's from what he's saying. They are a ton better than stock. I would say go custom or take a look at AFM cams. I also know alot of ppl use tfs1 with 40p's. I personally like afm cams better as far as off the shelf cams go. I just took a B cam out of the setup in my sig. Sounded...

    Motor Mounts?

Hey, does anyone know where to get solid motor mounts for the 94-95's? I can only find them for Foxes, and I'm not sure if it's the same mount. Does anyone know if a Fox one will work?
