Unfortunately the nearest shop is ten miles away. Id kill the tranny half way there. Ive been through this before when the plastic grommet on the throttle arm broke, tranny went south right away.

thanks for the reply. When I pulled on the cable after i detach it from the groomet, it will retract, but not all the way. Guess Ill take a look at the TV cable connection at the transmission. Thought Id get more replies because its so critical that it be working properly or the transsmision...
