    Kick panels I am going thryu same think on my 66 coupe. I ordered ther kick panels that you cut yourself from American pony parts. I heard that the 6.25 inch speakers that are any good are too thick so I am going with a set of 5.25 inch ones.

    Are you posotive your lean at WOT. I also have a demon and it seems pig rich at idle and thought was leaning out at WOT until I dynoed it. First run little rich at idle then perfect 3 runs after that I don't have the graph but I believe demons are like that

    I have 69 mustang 302, 3speed, with 9in rearend, whats the best performance gear?

    rear Gears I have an 8 inch trac-,oc with 3:55 gears. A little loud on highway for longer trips. I just put in al aluminum driveshaft which helped immensley though. My car is also a 66 though and is lighter. If you plan on a lot of hiway driving 3:25 sound good

    Backfire when all 4 barrels open up

    I was getting same thing with my demon 625 carb and when I took the bowls off the floats were not even in the housing so I was getting way too much gas. I put the floats back in and now runs fine

    Roller Rockers for a 66 289?

    You may be able to use Roller Tip Rockers (Comp Cams) but I do not think you can use full roller rockers without maching head for screw in studs. If you are going to do anything at all performance oriented on the engine I would have this done anyway

    Help! Overheating!

    Overheating Are you sure your head gaskets are on properly. If they are backward it will overheat because the coolant holes are in wrong place. Just a thought

    For all you "Original" car keepers out there.

    Mods I also have an 85 gt and I am only going to do little things to it. 1. Exhaust 2. Pulleys and maybe rear gears. The 82's are nice and getting rare, just don't do anything you cannot undo.
