And This Is Why You Stick To Mm Parts (not Even Steeda) Update Resolved

Upper and lower control arms will help with the traction. But to greatly improve handling I'd also suggest lowering springs, and front and rear swaybars. It would completely transform the way the car handles and feels.

Yes durometer means the stiffness of the bushings. Typically on a street driven car with 500 rwhp the black bushings are the way to go. If all you do is drag race the yellows will be more stout but some increased NVH will be present. I'll go ahead and put together a nice "package" for you so...

And This Is Why You Stick To Mm Parts (not Even Steeda) Update Resolved

haha, thanks dude. Actually saw it on a front license plate on a shop job many years ago, it read Big Daddy Long Stroke. The 88 Fox GT had a bowling ball paint job with 15" hammers. It always stuck out as funny to me and when I put a 351 in my car with a longer 3.5" stroke, I figured it was...

Hey Joe, thanks for the reply. I believe you might have received the bushings for our steel lowers and not the aluminum lowers like you have. Looking at the bushing tube prints, the aluminum lowers have an ID of 1.950" and the steel lowers have a bushing tube with an ID of 1.750". Wow, the...

    Steeda vs Bama custom tunes

Glad to hear. Our in house car has over 17,000 miles on it to date with Zero issues. Our Steeda Tune and Cold air have been on it since day 1. Last year it went to several drag races, NMRA and FFW events, but it's also been road raced at Homestead Raceway, Sebring and Palm Beach International...

    Not another "which shifter" thread...

I can only speak for myself in this thread. Like I've stated, 10 handles out of 50,000 units isn't a hazard IMO. I've seen plenty examples of Kirbans, UPR's and other handles broke. Way back in the day we use to sell a billet handle. I will say that we had some failures on those, hence the...

    Not another "which shifter" thread...

All of our shifters have a Life Time warrantee and everyone of those customers were taken care of if they contacted us here at Steeda, free of charge. In my 12+ years with the company I've seen less than 10 forged handles actually break, for those rare cases I typically have send them a...

    Not another "which shifter" thread...

We stopped making it because of the lack of damand. When committing to a forging you need to have large production runs. Unfortunately it took us more then several years to sell the original batch of them. For those interested, we do sell a shifter bushing kit that allows you to use your...

    2012 5.0 engine recall?

So you mean to tell me you can put a CAI and Tune on a Cobra and go 11's?? And that being the ONLY MOD to the Cobra? Give me a break. The 5 liter will out run the Cobra mod vs mod and the 5 liter is NA and not even blown. We have been 11.80's with only Steeda CAI, Tune and Nitto...

    2012 5.0 engine recall?

I beleive there is a delay because there is more of a demand for the 5.0 in the F-150's than the Mustang. Dealers still have plenty of 5.0's on the lot. BTW, put your order back in. The Terminator is nothing compare to the new 5.0 buddy. Good luck.

    Steeda Tri Ax shifter

It's simple. The shifter can stay in the car. All your doing is disconecting the arm that goes from the bottom of the Steeda shift lever to the transmission, installing a bracket and bolting it back up. I would only see it taking you a couple minutes. :nice:
