    Lowering Problems

You just need to take the strut nut off, then remove the bolts around the strut. I believe thats how i've done it before. If they are like my Steeda's, at least. You'll need a huge flat head screwdriver or something to hold the strut shaft while you loosen/tighten the strut nut.

    Lowering Problems

You're tire is rubbing because you have ENORMOUS negative camber. I run almost -3 degrees camber and my set of race tires rubs the fender well. I don't care, it's not hurting anything. Caster does not control wheel location, it controls top of strut orientation(lean/angle).

    Lowering Problems

They look fine to me.....you'll just have extra room to adjust CASTER now, instead of CAMBER. More CASTER always = BETTER! :)

    Lowering Problems

If he just machined/made the holes bigger, thats no big deal.........hell i've drilled the holes on my car AND on my plates for more adjustment. No biggie.

So they admitted they are on backwards/sideways? Wow, thats stand-up-ish of them.

    Lowering Problems

The rear end is gonna make noise.........it's the nature of a soft bushing/non greaseable bushing equipped triangulated 4-link suspension. It's constantly in a "bind".

    Lowering Problems

I just said it was a CONTRIBUTING factor......not 100% the problem. If you want to check your shocks/struts.......push down on the front/rear and see if the car "bounces". If they're good, it won't bounce. ALso, your brothers Cobra has a better strut on the front than your V6, or those...

I'm just trying to help dude. I'm not expert but I know a DUCK when I see one. :)

    Lowering Problems

The poly isolators are a contributing factor to your "noises". They are harder/denser and therefore transfer more noise. It sounds like you're more in to "looks" than anything. Your stock stuff is just fine.....

    Lowering Problems

Dude, those things are installed SOO WRONG it's pathetic. You're using the two bolts on the side of the strut to adjust the CASTER, and the larger bolts on the outside to adjust the CAMBER. THAT IS COMPLETELY WRONG. Just try them the way ALL THE OTHER C/C PLATES suggest and I can assure you...

    Lowering Problems

Seriously dude, just unbolt the bolts(possibly the strut nut too), and just flip them yourself. I'm sure if you tell them they did it wrong they'll get huffy and say something like "We've always installed them like that" or something along those lines.

    Lowering Problems

The tab should be point toward the headlights, and it should be on the fender side, not motor side. Basically take your drivers side plate, and turn it 1/4 turn clockwise and put it on the passenger side. Then take your passenger side plate and turn it a 1/4 counter clockwise and they'll be...

    Lowering Problems

I know these are STEEDA plates, but they are similiar enough for this comparison. See the ones on the LEFT? Notice that little extra "tab" on the bottom/right side? That needs to go toward the FRONT of the car, not touching the fender like you have them. Here are some MAXIMUM install...

    Lowering Problems

By the pictures, it looks like your plates are installed incorrectly. That little "tab" that is point toward the fender(looks like it's TOUCHING it), should be pointing toward the front of the car. That being said, you have yours on the wrong side, and oriented in the wrong direction...

any subframes available for side exhaust?

Yup, used'em with my SpinTech side exhaust.......worked pretty good. The "oval" tubing of the SpinTech crossover pipe helped as well.

Ramps, Chins and Eibachs, Oh My

You can also get a set of Kenny Brown "jacking rails". I think they're like 50 bucks or somthing. They allow you jack the car up like in a NASCAR pitstop. I autox/change tires alot and these little things help soooooooooo much!!!

any subframes available for side exhaust?

To the best of my knowledge, Kenny Brown Super Subs are your only option. You may want to try and contact SpinTech about their subframes. I do not know if they are full or not. FWIW, I took the KB SuperSubs off my GT to put on Steeda full legnths(with torque box plates too), and then put...

need opinions on leaving the bottom isolators out when changing springs

I left ALL isolators out when installing my Bullit kit on my GT. The car sit's "right" in my opinion, not slammed, not 4x4 but like it should from the factory. When I took the ProKit's off my GT, and put them on my girlfriends 99 auto/V6/Vert......I left ALL isolators out because I wanted...

    Oil on spark plug question

Thanks for the insight everyone. The spark plug in question had oil on the ceramic part of the plug, and you could see it was causing a deffinite "issue" with the plug. However, I just can't imagine how there was no codes being thrown, no smoke.......of ANY kind out of the tail pipe, and the...

    Oil on spark plug question

Car is a 99 V6/auto convertable and is my girlfriends car. Car has 102,000 miles on it and as I was doing a spark plug change, I pulled the drivers/3rd back plug(the one at the firewall). I noticed it was covered in some oil and the ceramic part was kinda worn down. All the other plugs...
