Why I will never again visit this tuner in Charlotte, NC

True, but at least we can have one of those rare civil internet arguments. :p

Why I will never again visit this tuner in Charlotte, NC

I know exactly what tires are good for and what they can mean. You missed my point. If his car was soo superior to his previous competition (which is exactly the way you made it sound), then it seems that he would have enough hp/tq to take out whatever comes his way, no matter what rubbers they...

Why I will never again visit this tuner in Charlotte, NC

First off, it does make you partial and biased, whether you care or not so your response is taken with much less importance. Secondly, if his Saleen has never had a challenger that can "handle" it, then dont be naive enough to think that tires alone are going to make it that close of a race...

What rpm do you shift at?

Ahh, I usually shift it at about 2.2-2.5 or so when I'm just being lazy. When I want to goose it, I'll pull it to a smidge over 5K (cant go higher til we get these bugs worked out).

    New Shoes!

Very nice. They're shinier than I thought too. I found those same polished rims for $168 the other day so I might go that route soon. That polished would look good with my Bright Altlantic Blue.

    New Shoes!

I really like those wheels. So does the "polished" lok similar to chrome in person? Where did you get them? Price? I'm really considering going with those as well. Get them on and get pics; thats an order.

    Going to the track

He just needs more seat time. The better comparison to draw is his pre- and post- nitrous times. The difference between the two shows what that 75 shot was really worth. His times will get better with more passes @ the track.

    Going to the track

Who did the tune for the 75 shot?

    Going to the track

1.2 seconds and 10+ mph on a 75 shot... Gotta be happy with that, Travis. :nice:

anyone have a 3.8L supercharged motor from a T-bird in their stang?

There are a few people on www.v6power.net/forum who have done the swap. Specifically V6sprout, BKB & some fella named Jack I think. Anyways, go over there and either pic their brains about the swap or do a search through the forums and you will find a bunch of threads relating to different...

    ~*you wanted a pic...here it is*~

Very clean, smooth sexy curves. Nice Mustang, too. ;) I really do like your stang though. I like the Mach 1 accents and the smoked lights on that red alot.

Why higher octane gas is not usually better

That's why I pray that whoever wins, whether its Bush, Kerry or Nader for that matter, that it is by a substantial margin; one that can't be disputed or left up to the courts to decide.

Why higher octane gas is not usually better

Nice post on octane stuff, at least I think. Too much to read for this old boy. Since Sleeper responded, I suppose I will too. The ACLU also = a bunch of Christian hating hypocrites who try to blame religion for all the worlds troubles. Frankly I am tired of being told that my being a...

    Slammin' Hondas

Too insignificant?? And how exactly am I the ****ing idiot? If you scroll back a ways, you specifically quoted my post, then repeatedly used the word "you" which means you were addressing me. Hmmm, if you didn't intend on talking to me directly, how about you actually quote the person you...
