top gear season 13 and mustang tow hitch...

Top Gear Season 13 should start airing in June. But they've been known to change things up at the last minute. Of course, if your waiting for Season 13 to be aired on BBCA....then it will be much longer. June will be the actual BBC airings

    Driveway ramps?

Yeah, those are the same types of curbs that I have to deal with in my driveway. The big difference is that out here (AZ) we don't have any Blvd area (grassy area between street and sidewalk) the sidewalk is right at the curb, so I can drive up nearly parallel onto the sidewalk a good 10-20...

    Driveway ramps?

Here's mine. Shows how low it is pretty well. It was taken before I cleaned up the front lip damage by the previous owner. If I can get this into my garage on a daily basis (it's my daily driver) with those half-curb things, than you should be able to as well.

    Driveway ramps?

I have one of those "half-way" curbs in front of my house. It's a pain in the butt, especially since I have a VERY low '06 GT. I have a full FMS Racing suspension with a full drop, and I have the Cervini C-500 kit, so I have side exhausts and a lower front clip. I have to take my driveway at...

    STUPID A$$ side windows...

I've never had a battery go so dead that it won't drive the majority of the electronics. I don't know for certain on the newer mustangs, but I'd bet the windows will function fine well after the battery gets low enough to stop starting the vehicle. Honestly? I wouldn't worry about it so...

I Went to the Dark Side and Bought a S-197 Mustang....

Honest answer? I would assume not. Got all the paperwork for the work done, I'll have to look through it to see if it has any mention of a tune. AFAIK, its a stand-alone bolt on CAI setup. pretty much inline with the air setup that the Shelby GT's have in them Would a tune be...

I Went to the Dark Side and Bought a S-197 Mustang....

Yeah, I know. I've been begrudgedly brought to the present. I love my 2000 GT, and still have it, but its getting a little long in the tooth with 100K miles on it and a clunky suspension. That said, looks and sound aside, the things I'm loving about the new ride the most are the simple...

I Went to the Dark Side and Bought a S-197 Mustang....

I took Possesion of my new ride, a 2006 GT Premium with the majority of the Cervini C Series Body Kit, a FMR Full Suspension Setup, AirRaid Intake Setup, Magna Flow Side Exhaust, and a Hurst Short Throw Shifter. Got the Keys yesterday, so I don't have any pictures other than the for-sale...

Started hearing a new noise, getting a bit worried!

I guess I'm a bit relieved seeing the replies thus far. Nothing very serious has been mentioned as the possible root cause. I guess I was thinking as much, since its a pretty random sound that doesn't seem to be tied directtly to any particular driving action like certain rpm, temperature or...

Started hearing a new noise, getting a bit worried!

Recently, in the last 2 weeks, my manual 2000 Gt has started making some metallic rattling noises when driving. The noise sounds almost like a Bolt sitting in a hole without a nut bouncing around randomly. Its a metallic noise that appears relatively randomonly when in gear at low acceleration...

I really don't like the looks of the 281 with those 'tacked on' sideburns. I would stick with the 351

    Suspension Woes

I have Sportlines and '03 Cobra Bilstien Struts up front and I have very noticable noise "clunks" from the front end when I go over bumps, like speed bumps. I've gone and looked things over and over, and every thing is tight and secure. In my case, I've found that the plastic dust shield...

    Ride quality with eibach sportlines?

I assume you still have stock, or stock sized, suspension components. The ride quality of the Sportlines will be decent, close to stock, if you still are using the stock length components (shocks and struts). Couple that in with the fact that your talking about putting them on a V6 (which...

    removing the grille pony???

Could do that. Or do it the cheap and easy way. I used a dremel and cut a flat slot through it and took it out with a standard Screw Driver. When I put it back in, I used a new torqx head screw. Up to you. Just remember if you remove the center pin, you lose the security feature of the...

    Cutting Stock Springs

You could cut the springs if you so desired. However the life of the stock components is going to be sacaficed. How much so? Don't know. Most likely cutting the springs will wear out the stock components no more quicker than throwing in a set of Eibach Sportlines. Your going to eventually...
