    Thanks everyone for the input I found the problem today it was the lifter diameter I ordered a cam and lifter kit from Summit and the cam was correct but after measuring the lifters I found the diameter is 30 thousands less than what they should be. I should have caught this on original assembly...

    Yes I am using a mechanical guage The clearances are all within tolerance and I checked the four galley plugs in the block two in front and two in back before assembly. Do you know if these four are the only plugs???
