    Window switch

Yes, there is such a thing as "in general". I worked in parts departments at Mercedes and Audi in college. I wasn't looking for you to plug in part numbers into a computer, I was just looking for someone's passive knowledge. But I found the answer I was looking for. Thanks.

    Window switch

Just in general. It's a late model Town Car. I was just wondering if it would be easier/cheaper to grab a used mustang one than a new lincoln one.

    66 mustang inline 6 to V8

I did the 6 to 8 swap in the fastback. Best thing to do is to find a donor car, and rip off all the suspension drivetrain components at once. But beware, the cost of doing this can rise quickly.

    Cheapest and Best Disc Conversion

I had the SSBC 4-piston kit. I liked it a lot. But I don't know how much better it was (if at all) over a stock kit.

Are you strictly a Ford person?

My M3 has been the best car I've ever owned. It's the most reliable thing I've ever driven, and is good at everything. That being said, I'm really a Lotus person.

going from 2v to 4bl, need suggestions

Depends on where you want to go with the motor? Is this going to be all you will do to it? Do you want to build it up down the road with a hotter cam and heads? If you aren't going to build it up, make sure you get something that will work well with a lower rpm range. If you are going to build...

    Quick Brake Question

Doesn't matter if its front or back.

Power booster or stay with manual brakes??

Stay with a manual setup. I had the SSBC 4 piston front brake kit on my fastback, and it was more than enough to lock up the fronts when i wanted to. I have also had cars with a power steering setup, and it feels too artificial.

    I sold the GT350 clone.

Yeah, it's really a shame when people do that. The car just needed about 1-2k in work to be fine again. I just don't have the money right now to do it.

    I sold the GT350 clone.

It was on autotrader for 1 month. Last august. Since then, so many people have called, that i didnt even bother to renew the ad. Motor was NA. Mods are in my sig. Put some stripes on the car. May not make it any faster, but it may sell it quicker. :D

    I sold the GT350 clone.

It's been a while, but some of you will remember me. I used to post here very actively for about 2-3 years. Last april, after throwing 7k in mods to the car, she died. Since the car was my daily driver, i had to buy something quick, and within a weeks time, bought my M3. So, my time has been...

anyone make a Carbon fiber hood for 1969 mustang?

My father's business is entering the cf market. We were going to stick with bmws, but there may be large enough a market for classic mustangs too.

Just thought I'd let you know that in the upcoming Scary Movie 4, there will be a 1965 Shelby GT350 clone featured. It won't be mine, but I was called by the guy who was approached. He is in Washington i think. Keep your eyes open!

car died, the started up later.

Well, i think we're going to keep the mustang. so yesterday, i took it out for a spin, and it died on me...again. now, the ignition coil isnt secured properly at the moment. Its just sitting on the intake manifold, resting on a valve cover. But i drove it anyways. after about 5 minutes...
