    Can you "over rev" an engine?

    6500rpm should be fine. I took my old 89 to the rev limiter 6250 many times with no issues. If you bent a valve, you would notice a misfire. If the car runs smooth still, then i doubt you did any damage.

    If your exhaust filled up with water then it could take a little while to clear the white smoke. Possibly a couple hours.

    Kinda backwards.. if they are directional then you will have one side with DOT's in and the other with DOT's out. Non directional, you'd opt for DOT's in to protect the #'s from curbs etc.

    Constantly boiling coolant, but you don't think it's overheating? What gauge are you going by, stock or aftermarket? Maybe try another gauge..

    I was told another method of seating piston rings. Drive the car in gear up to high RPM, and let the motor slow the car back down to 1500RPM or so.. repeat this process several times. I did this with my motor, and they seated fine. I also did drive it hard right away. Just can't help myself..

    I had my crank turned .020 on both rods and mains.. although you do not need to turn both just as much. You could have .010 under mains and .020 under rods etc. This cost me $134, but if your in the US then i'm sure it'd be cheaper. Line bore I believe is ~$100 here. Napa prices..
