i began installing the complete front and rear cobra brake kit today. the fronts went fine. they were pretty easy. i have a problem with the rears, though. the bigger rear rotors require the calipers be mounted farther from the axle via a wider bracket. the problem is that to get the old...

also, how many ounces are in a large can? i have 2 12oz cans of ford brake fluid and plan on grabbing a couple more in the morning just in case. jr, did you also swap out the rear brakes?

jr, thanks for the help, i know you've done this and hoped you would see this thread! the front calipers came assembled, but the rears did not. i now understand where the clips sit, but riddle me this: do only the rear clips actually lock in place (see first pic)? is this how the front clips...

ok, the kit came ups today, and it will be going on tomorrow. three questions: 1. will i need ANY special tools? 2. what the hell are these clips for and where the hell do they go? they came with the rear brake pads. i can't seem to figure out how they go with the new pad brackets and...
