Centerline Telstars fit perfectly without grinding on my car with a 1" H&R spacer...All I had to do was cut off about 1/2" of the stock studs so they wouldn't stick through the spacer and hit the wheel hub...
Yep, it's very possible, even without grinding...
a Weld Prostar 15x3.5" with 1 7/8" backspace will fit with a 1" H&R spacer...
I fit 15x4" with 1 3/4" backspace Centerline Telstars on my car with the same spacer and no grinding...
For everyone's info, the GT500's are dynoing around 420rwhp stock...

But, looks like the stock tune is way conservative, and just by adding a CAI and tune it puts it over 500rwhp...

Or you could buy a Mustang GT, put an GT500 body kit on it, upgrade the bottom end of the engine, put a big 2.2L KB blower on it and have more power than the GT500 and be a lot lighter and faster, and still have about $60k left over...
I've had BFG G-force KDW's on my car for the past 3-4 years and they are really good tires IMO...They have good dry traction and even better wet traction...
The problem I see with the SVT section on here is that people don't know which forum to post in...I see many tech question posts end up in the Talk forum and vice versa and I think it confuses people on which one to post in. Also, there are people posting in here with questions about the 5.0L...
The car you rode in probably had coil overs also...if you stick with stock springs and struts an aftermarket K-member shouldn't be any more noisy than the stock one...Unfortunately, most K-members require coilovers since they don't include stock spring perches on their A-arms...Some let you...
I would definately NOT put AJE up there in quality with Maximum Motorsports and Griggs...I've seen too many people that have had fitment problems with AJE's...
Griggs and MM are definately the cream of the crop for K-members...
Sounds like you are pushing around 550rwhp or so? I'd go with the McCleod clutch...It's one of the strongest clutches out there and a lot of 03/04 guys making big power that still have the T56 in are using...They aren't real cheap though...
