    How Much Should I Ask?

Plus the brand new (less than 500 miles) Michelin Pilot Sports are a good selling point. Those were $1,000 to put on there, but I couldn't sell it with almost gone tires either...

    How Much Should I Ask?

Edmunds.com says closer to $20k for private party, over 20 for a dealer. But you're right, starting a little high gives some room to negotiate down...

    How Much Should I Ask?

So I'm finally letting her go... 2008 GT with 66k miles, and every option except the Shaker 1000. LED tail lights, roll bar from Autopower with cover and padding, and new Michelin Pilot Sport 245/45-18 tires. I'm in Newport Beach, California, is asking $21,000 too much? Is craigslist the...

Bilstein Shocks For Sale - Barely Used, $200 plus shipping...

Yes, these are the HD shocks. It's not that they're harsh so much as they are really firm and controlled. They make the car corner totally flat, it feels like an M3. Unfortunately, if you have a convertible and live somewhere the roads are bad, the ride for me is just too hard for everyday use...

Bilstein Shocks For Sale - Barely Used, $200 plus shipping...

Hi all, Sorry it took so long for me to reply. 33183 is $55, 70778 is $52, 60628 is $46, and 48228 is $55. I'm in California. I'm pretty sure it will fit on a 2010 coupe? All I know is that it did fit on my 2008 GT vert, so I'm not sure, but I think the s197s are all the same in that regard...

1800 miles. I think they should last at least 50,000 miles or so under normal use...

Bilstein Shocks For Sale - Barely Used, $200 plus shipping...

I have a 2008 GT vert and bought these to replace the stock absorbers at 50,000 miles. They are AMAZING if what you are looking for is a perfect handling track car, corners incredibly flat, high speed is amazingly stable, and the precision is perfect. However, if you have a convertible and you...

    Ruined my GT

I just bought a set of Tokico adjustable shocks, and I'm going to have a company make me some custom springs. I'm not ready to go the air suspension route...

    V6 and GT Suspension Differences?

Are there any differences between the 2008 V6 and the V8 cars in terms of suspension? How about between the convertibles? For some reason I thought the spring rates were different, but I'm not sure. Are the parts completely interchangeable? Thanks.

    Ruined my GT

I know it. But what else can I do to make a BIG difference? The real problem is the roads suck so bad here in Southern California. Are the springs from the V6 softer?

    Ruined my GT

Yeah, but the stock ones were soft, but the ride wasn't great, either. I'm thinking this: Suspension Systems :: ShockWaves :: 2005-2011 Ford Mustang - ShockWave Rear System - Master Series, Double Adjustable with Internal Ride Height Sensor - RideTech.com - Air Suspension Specialist

    Ruined my GT

2008 GT Vert. 50k miles. Thought I'd do something nice and replace the shocks, which seemed to be getting a little soggy. Thought Bilstien would be good. Now it rides like it's on wood. What in the world do I do now? I'm trying to decide whether a.) I should get some Tokico...

Expedition - Rear Diff Bearing - Just Replace Diff?

2004 Expedition, rear diff grinding noise, axle and driveshaft bearing bad. Dealer wants $1500 or so to rebuild it. New diff is $1500, my local mechanic said he'd put it in for cheap. What to do? Is there a place that sells remanufactured diffs for this truck?

GT and V6 Vert, Same Shocks?

Strut mounts, ok, learned something new today. Not so much bouncy as just not so reactive to sharp imperfections (I live in Southern California, we have no money to fix the earthquake damaged roads here...)... :) But adjustable sounds good. How hard (easy to access) are they to adjust? If...

GT and V6 Vert, Same Shocks?

You have adjustable dampers, I'm assuming they are the Tokico? Do they have some kind of adjustment screw for compression and another for rebound? If I installed those, and turned them to full soft, how does that compare to stock? I've heard setting 3 is like stock, 5 is race hard and 1 is very...

GT and V6 Vert, Same Shocks?

I guess the kit comes with a compressor, controller and tank. It's the tank I worry about, where to put that thing? The only logical place is the trunk and it already has limited room becuase of the top. I called Bilstein, and they have a cool new adjustable damper setup, but not for the...

GT and V6 Vert, Same Shocks?

Makes sense, thanks! I did hear the V6 was softer somehow, but that must refer to the spring rates, and not the shock valving. What do you think about the air suspension available from ridetech? Suspension Systems :: Vehicle Packages :: 2005-2011 Ford Mustang - Level 2 - RideTech.com - Air...
