    Coolant Inlet? Please help.

Once I get back to Vancouver and get my storage locker paid up, I think I have a couple of those kicking around, along with the bolts. The bad news is that it might be a month or so until I can make that happen, if you still need one...

    RAG JOINT

If you don't have it sorted yet, shoot Tony at forgottenpony an email. There are several rag-joints (rack to column complete, for the power steering rack) hanging on the wall in the shop. :nice:

    Mustang II front valance

Get in touch with Tony at forgottenpony.com. I know there are a couple of valances out in the parts tent because I almost tripped over them a couple days ago...

    4 lug swap

Street rod 5-lug rotors and have the axle flanges redrilled to 5-lug and use the 9" Ranger drums. Side note: Yeah, its really the car's fault that you posted your question in the wrong section of an under-utilized forum:rolleyes:

    V6 Transmission Swap

The parts from the Ranger/Bronco II/Explorer will work, as long as the donor is a 2wd with the 2wd tailhousing (the 2wd BII uses a "dummy" transfer case) and as long as you use the matching starter for the flexplate. Using a C5 out of an early 2wd Ranger is probably the best option, with a...

New hood cowl and new engine heating up

Yeah, Tim, my other automotive love is the Bronco II (probably because of the 2.8 it used) :D

New hood cowl and new engine heating up

For the brake cylinder, the Explorer is the next generation of the Bronco II, and later Explorers are four wheel disc (use the master and the proportioning valve)

    Need a Fuel Tank

I have a few used tanks, but I'm on Canada's west coast. Try a search in the forums at mustangii.net though, because there is a company reproducing them now...

I need a gear for my 8 inch

The II 8" was available stock with 2.79, 3.00, 3.20, 3.40, or 3.55 gears, and was available with a Trak/Lok except for (I believe) late 77 and 78 cars. The 3.40 and 3.55 gears were usually only available on 4 cylinder and V6 cars. I'm in the middle of swapping out the stock 2.79 open diff in...

    Cologne 2.8 V6 To T5 WC Transmission

The Bronco II/Ranger line used the Toyo/Kogyo 4 speed in 83-84, the Toyo/Kogyo 5 speed in 84-85, the Mitsubishi FM145/146 86-88(?) and the M5OD after that (into and including the Explorer model line) All will interchange, since the 2.8, 2.9, and 4.0 all share the Cologne V6 bellhousing pattern...

    Automatic to T-5 ?

If it had a 5.0 and an AOD in it already, then the only things that might hang you up are the placement of the shifter (it will sit farther forward than usual, but can be somewhat offset by a custom shifter) and the location of the tranny mount (which can be modified in several ways, depending...

    Motor mounts

Yes, we've used Brett's rebuild kits on several of the II's to come through the shop (including both the Handler and Angie's Yellow King), and they are a BIG improvement over the originals (and yes, a pair of II mounts even held together by nothing but the rivets, plus one of Brett's kits and a...

    Swapping a 4.0L v6 into a MII

You'll probably want to contact 51degII over at the mustangii.net site. He's been piecing a 4.0 swap together and working out the wiring splices. If you aren't a member there, message me your email and I'll pass it along to him for ya...

There should be more than enough room if you tuck it up above the glove box. Remove the cover inside the glove box, and pull the dash pad/dash plate to get access, and you should have room for anything smaller than a bar fridge :nice: :D

    Procar seat adapter

Double-check with the manufacturer. Most likely, the listing was put in by someone who isn't familiar with when the design changed, because the 79+ seat tracks are different from the II...

As long as you can snug them down and the bolts don't flop around in the bushings, yes they'll work :nice:

    How about longer wheel studs

Not too sure on the specifics (it was another guy at the shop who dug up the info when we ordered them) but I know ARP makes long studs in the MII shank size.
